I took my elderly and kindly neighbour to the shops (well Mr T only really;))yesterday and she put the following in her trolley :Easter eggs + mug (£6 for 3) for the grandchildren), Tetley tea, Flora, Fairy x2 :pand some other bits.
:AI treated her with my DTD voucher and we had a lovely chat and coffee afterwards at her home. She's on her own and on a limited pension -
:)Why don't you all treat a neighbour too with one of your vouchers - it made her day and mine :lovethoug0 -
morning all omg i need a break but get paid today so its a tesco day out , been dreaming about nescafe how sad, have got a beauty voucher for £10 can anybody suggest what i can buy,
by the way who took all the dishwasher tablets from eaglescliffe?
for £10 voucher= 5 x dove shower gels..around 4 types..this will trigger a £10 DTD voucher that you can make last for ever!!!
slowly build it up eg 4 cornetto enigmas which will turn your £10 voucher into a £12 voucher...
keep going until your voucher reaches £20
go on for ever and ever and ever!!!:T0 -
The only way the greedy can profit from this is by picking out the items that greedy old tesco has put on the sheves with vastly over inflated prices...
For every DTDer buying these items I'd guess theres 100s/1000s of other customers buying them full price.
And until Tesco impose a limit on all customers that they are not allowed to shop with them any more than ten times a month I will continue to profit from Tescos greed by recycling as often as I can.
After all this is a moneysaving site, its probably not for you if you are more worried about the poor little old retailer rather than the evil greedy old consumer.

DONT FORGET GUYS!!!!!
GOLD BLEND
150G REFILL PACKS
£4.25 TESCO...£2 ASDA
DTD £4.50
TESCO ARE PAYING YOU TO TAKE THIS!!!
IT WOULD BE RUDE NOT TO!!!
SHOPLIFTING HAS NEVER BEEN SO LEGAL!!! PMSL:rotfl:0 -
just been thinking, the other day i bought nappies for £17(paid cash as i use vouchers for recycling), if i'd thought on a couple of days before I could have got £17 worth of DTD stuff, got the voucher, and then bought the nappies with the voucher, so for my £17 i would have got a load some DTD stuff and the nappies, rather than just the nappies. or alternatively i could have used a voucher to pay for the nappies, then done another dtd to make up for the voucher loss.
lesson learned, never pay cash for 'normal' shopping in t's0 -

Please keep this thread nice by not calling people idiots and greedy.
This deal can be pulled at any time so I take my hat off to anyone that can make the most of it while it lasts.
A lot of people are very hard up and struggle to make ends meet.
This deal has allowed these people (like me), to buy branded products they can't usually afford.
They are usually living on the breadline where these tesco bosses are millionaires, racking in profit over profit.
So I ask again, keep your opinions to yourself as this thread needs to be kept nice and friendly. Thank you.
I totally agree with you emerald_starcat.
Supermarket chains are hardly known for their high moral standards - they seem to have the power & 'muscle' to ride roughshod over everyone & everything & are a law unto themselves. Just a few examples:-
Squeezing Farmers & small Producers/Manufacturers on price until they go out of business.
Putting small corner shops out of business.
Decimating the High Street.
Getting planning permission to build wherever they want, regardless of community of environmental issues.
Rumours of pricing cartels - we will pay what they deem is the right price.
Dubious pricing & display tactics, instore, which mislead.
'Monopolies & Mergers' - what is that? They almost own the world!
.......... I could go on!
That's not to say they are all bad - it is the way we shop these days - but hardly 'high moral standards'. They weild indescribable power - we are their puppets. So, on the rare occasions the Consumer gets to win - I say great!!!
There aren't many people these days who can afford luxuries (& if they can they probably don't shop or Tesco or couldn't be bothered with this type of promotion). So, we are looking at people who for the first time in ages can buy themselves & their families a few treats, a nice easter egg, stock up on washing powder, fill the freezer etc. etc. & have some spare budget left at the end of the month to pay bills or throw at some debts - that thought actually gives me a lot of pleasure!0 -

Right...can anyone explain the Fairy glitch and DTD to me...can i put it on a DTD shop with other things? Brain tired after 2 days at hospital with DD, juggling making Easter bonnets and Tesco
Thanks x
:APricing error takes off double the difference at the till - mainly the £1.53 / £2 for 2 eucalyptus / silk and orchid ones ie the dearer ones. Works also on the 650ml Lemon 1.43 / £2 for 2.
You need to buy in multiples of 2 for it to work and be aware that it could be corrected anytime. It still shows as working online on the Tesco siteso you can check it out b4 u go.
:jeg 1.53 x 2 = £3.06 less 1.06 to bring it to £2.00 then a duplication of the offer of 1.06 to bring it to 94p two of the £1.53 ones.:j
The £ 1.43 lemon x 2 comes out at £1.14 net but it is 50% bigger - so a bargain too.
HTH :j0
