You are welcome, DON'T DO ONLINE SHOP ... I read alot on previous posts

    1) Driver does not know what to do with your voucher.
    2) Anything you put it online basket might change in prices.

You are better of going into the store, this way you can choose what u want. Do not use clubcard or credit card to pay. They are disadvantage to you. Always pay in CASH. There are reasons as to why we only pay cash. I dont want to go into it. Just trust me;)

Since this is your 1st dtd shop - pay cash - say do the lamb & roast spuds only. Enter your receipt - get dtd your voucher the next day.

Print your 1st ever dtd voucher . Now go look at the spreadsheet or read all the post everyday (F5, F5, F5) without fail!! see what you can get for your dtd voucher. Buy the stuff you want say :-

5 dove moist shower gel for £2 each = you get dtd £10.00 back
5 Roast spud £2 each ( I am just giving you an example) = £10.00 back
maybe buy a packet of sweety to top up, if you feel too guilty to just spend £20!:rotfl:

Now pay using your 1st ever dtd voucher £20.00. Then go home enter your NEW receipt & you get another £20 the next day.

JUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR VOUCHER DO NOT EXCEED £100 ( £20 x 5) IN 1 MONTH.

Again, thanks for your detailed explanation.............I shall heed your advice and see how things work out on tomorrow's shop! Once again, thanks for the help.

Sounds too good to be true, but i'll happily give it a go!

Not read all the recent posts but a few points that make me giggle:

    1. People wanting to return items when they don't get DTD. This wouldn't be an issue if you stuck to buying items that you will use. The amount that these same people appear to be getting back on DTD surely covers the odd N/F etc?

Exactly!! If you're shopping wisely for a smallish outlay you can recycle the DTD vouchers for big gains. I've taken a few punts on things that come back N/F (£12.99 bottle of Cava ect lol) but wouldn't dream of taking them back and causing a fuss! It's through doing this that we let others know what works and what doesn't. Just write it off I say!

went to SA yesterday and it was insisted that i used a clubcard with my DTD voucher.

i said i didn't have one and pointed out that the dtd recipt also said i didnt.

so manager came and said as people are abusing the system that all reciepts must now have a clubcard with them.....

so i went to a different store and the lady didn't even mention it.

    oxi extra hygiene N/F
heinz beans fridge pack N\F  as i bought 3!

hoping the kinder eggs are okay for me as i stocked up for my LO party bags next month and got 12 packs of 3!

Went to a store with a friend last night. My checkout operator insisted she take my old receipts, whilst my friend wnet through exactly the same time two tills down, checkout operator didn't know what to do and called a supervisor who just told her to scan the voucher, didn;t even mention signing the old receipt.

I had an embarrising moment in tesco yesterday, picked the check out with young lad only for a supervisor to ask me to move to the next til as lad was closing as he was unwell. looked up to see middle aged chatty woman that always talks to me. she starts scanning my 30 pints of milk numerous bread and veg and starts telling me about dtd had i heard of it and not to forget to check my shopping then went on to tell me about these terrible people who are cheating tescos on an internet site OH NO thats terrible says i then she comes across the salmon, magnums, and cornettos and raises her eyes I hand her a coop voucher then my dtd voucher and my £32 comes to £7. "Your one of them" she says " them internet con people we swapped gardening tips I thought you were a nice lady"
she was shocked . I felt like a school kid told of by the headmaster. She then carried on to do my Other 2 lots of shopping that my mum and daughter paid for with similar vouchers in total silence, we did not even get a goodbye..
I felt terrible but my free tea and magnum for pudding did help

True, but how many of those will actually read the email?

I'm sure Tesco aren't being hurt by savvy DTDers. They are gaining by all the extra bits of shopping people pop in their basket, mistaken buying of items which aren't pricematched etc. I think people panic too much about poor old Tesco getting cold feet with this promo.
Again true, but there will come a point at which too many are (ab)using it and they deal with it.

I think if your receipt is not found though this is different. If one thing is N/F fair enough but when all your shopping is not found it's very frustrating that it would have been half price at Asda!
