Hi there, anybody know if you can use this DTD on an online shop? Thanks

Yes, when you hand voucher to driver make sure you photocopy receipt first so you have a copy. I always call the store that delivered next day to ensure its been handed in and all is fine.
Please God, help me stop spending!

Im going to try but the SA's are dragons!

WHat excuse do i give for returning all that stuff?
If it's alcohol, just say the dinner party was cancelled, if it's toiletries, wrong ones for mothers day gift or I ususally blame my 4 year old being helpful and putting stuff in my trolley when I wasn't looking! (ps, she would never dare do that!) HTH

No - they were working on Tuesday, your receipt is confirmation of the day you shopped, not the day you get your receipt. Things obviously changed yesterday.

Well they didnt as the MSE'r jumped the gun and was wrong she hasnt had her DTD back yet - the prices are still the same as they always have been -

Thank you so much for the detailed response, I appreciate the time you have taken. Once i'm used to this, obviously it will be second nature, but there is a learning curve at the start! I suspect the tricky part now, will be finding some of this lamb left in the store! lol One final thing, can you do an online shop and still benefit from DTD?

You are welcome, DON'T DO ONLINE SHOP ... I read alot on previous posts

    1) Driver does not know what to do with your voucher.
    2) Anything you put it online basket might change in prices.

You are better of going into the store, this way you can choose what u want. Do not use clubcard or credit card to pay. They are disadvantage to you. Always pay in CASH. There are reasons as to why we only pay cash. I dont want to go into it. Just trust me;)

Since this is your 1st dtd shop - pay cash - say do the lamb & roast spuds only. Enter your receipt - get dtd your voucher the next day.

Print your 1st ever dtd voucher . Now go look at the spreadsheet or read all the post everyday (F5, F5, F5) without fail!! see what you can get for your dtd voucher. Buy the stuff you want say :-

5 dove moist shower gel for £2 each = you get dtd £10.00 back
5 Roast spud £2 each ( I am just giving you an example) = £10.00 back
maybe buy a packet of sweety to top up, if you feel too guilty to just spend £20!:rotfl:

Now pay using your 1st ever dtd voucher £20.00. Then go home enter your NEW receipt & you get another £20 the next day.

JUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR VOUCHER DO NOT EXCEED £100 ( £20 x 5) IN 1 MONTH.

Your partner picked up the wrong stuff when you sent him shopping? Or he bought stuff not realising you had already shopped that day?

but what happens if you return stuff and you paid with a DTD voucher?

Going to stick my neck out here and say that this to me proves the point that we are abusing the system - as if you catually did your normal shop you are saying that you wouldn't get anything back i.e. Mr A would not be that much / any cheaper.

The system / their offer is that your regular shopping would be cheaper than Mr A. What we are doing is purposefully buying the most expensive items and ignoring the good offers and cheaper items.

Not wanting to start an argument and I am doing this along with everyone else, but I think it's fair to say that this isn't really "in the spirit of the promotion" :o

    Its war :p

Tesco responsibility to their shareholders is to take as much money as they can for as little produce they can get away with.

My resposibility to my family is to take as much produce as I can for as little money as I can get away with.

There is no spirit to the promotion, its purely a Tesco competitive response to Asda.

I just staple the receit to the DTD voulchers and give it to the SA- this way I will not duplicate / mix it up/ lose it and generally the SA / supervisor happy with this arrangement... :)

This is what i do, then enter the details in my spread sheet so i know how much i have spent and how much i get back!

Soooo wish my vouchers would arrive! If they're not here by 12.30 I can't get to Tesco as am busy from then on :( Popped into my (small) local this morning but only had a little voucher left and it was horrible walking past at least 8 racks of lamb, 5 packs of roast potatoes, a double display of Fiano, BC still at £1.49 etc etc. Had a lovely SA too who had never seen a voucher before but was very grateful for me explaining the procedure, so no need to call scary till supervisor over. I REALLY want to go back in there today!!
