I am not sure if they can use the ip address to identify households, as for example you may be claiming from your work computer and everyone on your subnet can have the same ip address, could not they. That would not make sense and they shoud say it in their t&c at least. Also, in most cases you do not have a fixed ip address, so when you swtich on your modem, it obtains a new ip addresss.0 -
simon31leeds wrote: »Ron,
I am not going to disagree with what you say but I am relatively more confident that it is not IP address based than potentially the other theory. Your vouchers were for £76, please can you just detail how much ASDA was cheaper each time (it's on the first page of the link you will have received with your grocery pricecheck broken down to individual items), and how much you anticipated receiving this time in ASDA value when you received the overlimit e-mail?
This is really important as it could save people on here that've helped others £,000's by not having to start new cash shops if we can get to the bottom of it.
If you just use any old email address then you wouldn't need to do a new cash shop...simples0 -
Which doesn't answer what I have asked at all????? Why quote my quote when you seem to have drifted off to a new track.
If you want to get to the bottom of why you have had the rejection e-mail I would suggest working through the figures and this will undoubtedly help others.
From my perspective, I don't care for my own vouchers as I am already working around it successfully, but I had been trying to get to the bottom of this for the benefit of others.

Technically it is possible as casinos do it all the time, warning you that their offer is only available once per household/computer/per shared ip or where computers are shared. I doubt Tesco do this (and their T&Cs don't state this), otherwise some of the early adopters wouldn't have been getting £100 vouchers, but technically possible (in the same way some online forums log your ip address when you post a message to prevent spam, malicious posts etc).

until they switch off the ability to print from just re-entering your receipt and instead insist on going through the e-mail address link which is going to your non existent e-mail addresses.
Have a bit of foresight eh old chap! Forewarned is forearmed and all that!Londinium33 wrote: »If you just use any old email address then you wouldn't need to do a new cash shop...simples0 -

If you take the full voucher value before capping that is £84.84 im not sure what I submitted yesterday because the receipt is at work but I would have expected at least £15.46 if they were basing it on total difference x 2 rather than voucher value. This is same with all three emails. All starting with cash transaction
This is just one of the email addresses

There's something weird going on with the Dove body washes. I've just noticed that the Dove body washes which were reduced to £1 yesterday are back upto £2 on mysupermarket.com and on Mr T's website. However some of them on Mr.T show they are £2 then have a yellow flash stating they were £1 but are now £0.50.
I've just added a couple to my basket and they show at £2 each so great for DTD again. If not and they really are 50p each then great for doubled up CC vouchers :j
If anyone finds themselves in a store tomorrow :rotfl: ...... could they confirm the SEL please? I won't be able to go until the evening otherwise would do myself and would like to plan my lists so i don't get caught out!
Thank you all for the fantastic spreadsheet and input. It's very much appreciated :T0 -
Sure do - but I'd get an even greater pleasure from seeing you get your fingers burned old fella.
See the difference is I'm not a selfish a@@e hole who is just out for number 1 - there's the difference between us and praise be that it is so.Londinium33 wrote: »Touchy... you don't need to get to the root of the problem...as you have the solution already!!! Simples...or should I say simpleton!!!
