Thanks, I'm probably overthinking something that is unlikely to happen anyway! :rotfl: It'd just be so great to be able to pop round to theirs one day and say, "I've got your next hotel sorted..."
Hmmmm, need new siggie :cool:0 -

            Hi
I entered a competition in a local newspaper (not my local), to win a wedding dress. I saw it advertised on one of the forums here.
Anyway...no winner has ever been announced, the competition has this last 2 weeks dissappeared off the website AND....the winners list has not been updated.
I e-mailed head office asking what happened with the competion, then e-mailed the competition contact asking if this was a real competition. Not had no reply.
Annoyed now I gave all my contact details...more annoyed that it was my work e-mail address which is also a news group so you would think they would have been more careful....Might have to get a reporter to report this ha ha ha

I'd never use my work email for a competition, my boss would kill me. Plus, there's probably a rule in my contract about it ... there's rules about everything else!0

i received an email from maximail with an offer to join this website which finds competitions for you to enter - does anyone know anything about it?
they want £4.99 a month to join after a 28 day trial
thanks0 -
I think you'll find most competitions will end up on here or the other free sites like Loquax. Why would you need to pay a fiver a month for something you can get for free already?:hello:0
