Hi all, not sure if i'm posting this in the right place but anyone who has an account on playstation network (i know they run a few competitons) should be aware their database has been hacked!
    http://uk.playstation.com/home/news/articles/detail/item369506/PSN-Qriocity-Service-Update/
We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011, certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account information was compromised in connection with an illegal and unauthorized intrusion into our network
For your security, we encourage you to be especially aware of email, telephone, and postal mail scams that ask for personal or sensitive information. Sony will not contact you in any way, including by email, asking for your credit card number, social security, tax identification or similar number or other personally identifiable information.

If u read what they say! it's funny, they will keep on sending till the toast arrives warm!!
A jar of marmalade though is a nice treat! everyone loves food prizes! xxx

I read it that they were going to pre-marmalade the toast rather than send you a jar. Delivered by airship too!!

Lol, it made me laugh anyway!:)

I enter comps because it is fun and I regard it as a hobby so not much point having someone else enter for me!

    Hi,

Is anyone using win24's competition entering service? No If so is it any good? Haven't got a clue Looks legit but would be nice to know. It's £2.75 a week and they enter you into a load of competitions plus daily entry for a £1mill draw. You can enter via the comps. on here for £0.00 per week, and there is no chance of getting disqualified via an automated entry type route

    Opinions please! See above :)

Have I posted this in the wrong place? Yes, I will ask a BG to move it to comps. discussion thread

    Thanks

See this advice from Jason of Loquax
    http://www.loquax.co.uk/webmaster/autoentry.htm

You are highly likely to have your entry disqualified if you use sites like Win24.
  • Have you ever wondered where those organisations get their leads from? ie the supply of all the latest competitions to enter.

I guess they come on to sites like this MSE or Loquax etc for all the information.

The trouble is if you use the number of "thanks" as a guide to how many people have entered a comp via MSE it would be wildly out because that never takes account of all the thousands who have been entered by these "third party" sites.

dont understand why you'd want to pay to get these automated entires that in a lot of comps arent valid...........the whole point in comping is the fun of doing the entries and knowing YOU won it not some computer that u put no effort into at all............just my opinion and good luck in comps u enter :)
ps i like winning cos its free not cos ive paid £3 a week lol im a cheap skate!
Massive Thank you to all who post comps & answers on here .i'm very grateful , good luck all.

Well spotted BT :) I have removed the reference to the link in my post. So many affiliate links, so little time :)
