I am a newcomer to the moneysavingexpert forums. I was urged to come onto the site after being highly amused and informed by Martin Lewis on Watchdog (my highlight of the week!!).
Errmm so I have been on the lookout for competitions that I can enter. I try and enter about five a day - could become a bit of an obsession of mine.
So hello - my name is Laura and I'm from Derby originally, now living in Manchester.
Hi Laura and welcome to MSE and the comps board :hello:

Hiya, how do people get all the pages up. I do a search and put
E: dd/mm and only ever get 12 pages up. Should I be doing something else? Seem like people are getting 90 odd pages for the 30th but how?0 -
Another question if you dont mind.
Ive started doing postal entries (average 10 per week) and noticed this site (ilovecomps.co.uk) which offers to do postal ones for you for 10p each.
Seems like the forum on there is very out of date so dont know if still up and running or anything.
Does anyone else use this/recommend to stay well clear?0 -

Unfortunately, the search will only bring up 300 threads, so 12 pages worth.
With end dates, you can sort the forum by end date, find out which page the end date you want starts at and then go from there. Much easier than searching, imo.2019 Wins

How would you know if they even send the cards?
Plus comping is meant to be a fun hobby not a money pool for those companies.0 -

Just a query really...
When filling out your contact telephone number for competitions/emails etc, what do you normally put??
With me being at work until 5pm daily I do tend to put my mobile number in and sometimes think that companies wont want to pay the extra to ring a mobile when they can ring a landline???
Thoughts....October Wins
The Siren Sisters Christmas CD
Artistic work of Bugs Bunny signed
Wizard of Oz tickets + 4* overnight stay in hotel with £100 spending money0 -

I have a PAYG mobile used exclusively for comping and never use a landline number.
I don't want any junk calls on my landline or normal mobile.
I have had plenty of wins many notified via the mobile.0
