I fully agree with you thingamaBob
I think a sub-board would be ok but if members just added a note in the title us Twitter/FB phobes could just drive by.Much in the same way if people started the comp post off with the name of the company as the clicky or the full URL.It can then be seen without actually opening the thread so making sites that are not wanted easier to avoid.0 -
why are people so anti facebook competitions? isnt it just another website for entering competitions on?0

All,
Just received this today....beware since I certainly never requested a password reset for the Mail Rewards and the return address is

I'm not anti them, each to their own, I just find that they run too many voting comps and seem to make up the rules as they go along. You see the same names as winners over and over again and they also clog up your wall with posts annoying your 'friends'. I enter a few, but only when I have done any others that I fancy first.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I like the comps board as it is. I come in from work, have a few hours to comp if I'm lucky and work from where I left off, as posted. They're all in one place and I don't have to go searching for different types of comps. I for one hope it doesn't change

I've not been comping long, and often don't read the T&Cs unless they're posted on here (writing too small usually, or just a bit lazy!) but i've just seen this on one comp...Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
This means a program like Roboform doesn't it? How can they tell? And do many comps say this?0 -
I think Roboform is fine.
This is probably more directed at the comp sites that charge a fee & enter for you. They'll use a script to enter the same comp over & over again.
I use Roboform & have won a bit in the past :-)0 -
Phew! Thanks weeowens...i was getting a bit worried there...thought all my frantic clicking had been in vain!0

Hi everyone, Ive not been comping for long but just wanting to ask if this site is ok and is it worth entering all the comps if you put not interested in all the stuff theyre trying to get you to send off for? Thanks in advance:)

They're on the list of comps that can't be posted on this site:
11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.
