Pursey - do you mean the 'Thanks' button disappears? Because mine does too, but I just assumed that was a safety just so that you couldn't click it numerous times?

Edit - Pursey, the enter button is on the row of buttons where the thanks one is, at the farthest right

Not sure why pursey but hope you get it sorted out :)

Get well soon Katie and come home when you feel strong enough xx

My sons motd mag hasn't arrived today so will see if it comes tomorrow otherwise I will have to go to shops for it to post comps. It normally comes on a tuesday.

No, I mean it reappears if that makes sense? Thanks for the info on enter. I am confused as to why this is happening!

Ah right, I see what you mean. That is odd, have you tried checking if your thanks has been counted? By clicking 'show me' underneath the OP's post? Try it on here, click thanks on any post and see if it is counted

Had a bit of a wierd day today, my 4yo went to bed with one spot on her shoulder last night but this morning she was covered. Dr has confirmed it's chicken pox, they had just gone back to school yesterday so she'll be off for a little while now. Put her in the bath tonight & she screamed saying they all itched & hurt, she's now gone to bed covered in lotion.

Then around teatime I got knock on door to find someone from a local radio station with my prize of a digital TV recorder I won on air a few weeks ago!

My 11yo's Dr Who mag came today as well, and lucky for you all they have put some comps in this one! I haven't looked properly but there is 6 on one page, slightly different to usual so will post them up later.

Haven't checked, but that is a good idea - I will have a go at that. If not I am going to have to write it down. Even with the iPad I won my thanks isn't showing!!!!

Edit: my name is showing, so it either comes off later or I am missing loads out.

Great news about your prize getting delivered pms :j Aw, sorry to hear about your LO gettting chicken pox. :( My youngest hasn't had them yet but all the nursery kids had them last year so I guess she's a carrier. When ds had them he had lots more spots than eldest dd (who scarred badly), someone told me to put bicarbonate of soda in bathwater and they cleared up in no time & less itchy. He didnt have any scars from them.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Princessmoneysaver - I hope your little one feels better soon, my OH had chicken pox for the 3rd(!) time last year and it was horrible. Maybe you'll win something nice to cheer her up! Congrats on the TV recorder win and looking forward to the comps :D

Pursey - that's so odd, possibly something to do with your cookies/connection somehow? I was going to ask what browser you're using but if it's still doing it on the beautiful iPad I can't understand it! Have a check and let us know if the thanks are being recorded x

Dumb question but do you mean bicarbonate of soda that you use for baking? If so how much should I be putting in? I have that in cupboard so will try it tomorrow - thanks.

Eldest DD had it many years ago so hoping she's not going to get it again as she has her SATS next week  When she had it she was ill for FOUR weeks & lost so much weight has she couldn't eat properly so really hoping it doesn't affect her little sister the same way.
