Dinx...I wish I had a bottle stopper on friday, then I might not have been drunk! :o Your ds sounds like a right character! :D

Glad you had a great time up here sheils :) Saltburn is a lovely beach although I don't often venture as much as I'd like to now. I loved the old tram ride going up the cliff side ;)

GL on facebook pursey. I don't chat as much on fb either, too many comps here to be done!

I've had my kids entering the argos paddling pool most of the day as they were desperate for me to win it! Ah well...maybe next time!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Hi all,

No beaches for me today :( - just washing and ironing this morning and a much needed hair cut this afternoon!

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Good morning compers,

Sun is shining here, but a cold wind is blowing!

We really enjoyed the long bank holiday weekend. On sunday we went for a lovely walk, it was in a wooded area with a path running alongside a stream with small waterfalls and a working water mill. The dog was loving it and made lots of new doggy friends, as did my daughter! :rotfl:

We spent a lot of time tidying the garden and planting seeds for the summer, we are hoping to grow some veg this year. we have planted carrots, beetroot, and will get some tomatoes potted on soon.

Shiels - I know what you mean, its very much back to the housework here and I really need to tackle the washing mountain :(

    Have a lucky day, x

Hey guys.... I won something from a Facebook competition today, and I nearly missed it - my name was posted on their page on friday, and they were about to pick another winner when I found out!
So I wanted to ask, for who enters Facebook competitions, how do you keep track of them?

I have a separate profile for comping, but still the posts are so many and I obviously can't always be there and check my wall....

sorry if this is the wrong section or it has been asked already!

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good winning day. Back to reality now & back to work!
Got a lot of coursework to do but will hopefully be in later ;)

ozma83 - I just google my name and put winner next to in the hope that something will come up! With fb I tend to rely on if someone spots my name or if the email me. :) Dont enter that many on fb though. Good luck & well done on the win! :)

Just tried that out of curiosity wingo and I seem to have won a runner up prize on a movie site - hopefully I didn't need to reply to anything as I can't find any messages or emails!!!! Off to try and investigate.:D

I came home to a red card today... I'm sat here racking my brains to what it could be!!! I'm expecting a parcel from a friend in America but it says white jiffy bag... the only other thing it could be that I know of is the comping book that was given away a few weeks ago by MSE Penelope... I didn't think they would arrive that quickly though....:j
