    Hi everyone!

Gosh it has been busy in here tonight. Hope you get things sorted out Pursey. Chicken pox is so horrible PMS but none of my kids ever had it badly so hope your dd isn't too bad.
I have been doing the One Poll survey in my husband's name and have finally got him the £40! I got mine months ago but it seems to have taken ages for his.

Dumb question but do you mean bicarbonate of soda that you use for baking? If so how much should I be putting in? I have that in cupboard so will try it tomorrow - thanks.

Eldest DD had it many years ago so hoping she's not going to get it again as she has her SATS next week  When she had it she was ill for FOUR weeks & lost so much weight has she couldn't eat properly so really hoping it doesn't affect her little sister the same way.

You could also try putting a handful of bicarbonate of soda into your child’s warm bath
    taken from here

hope lo clears up soon, my gs had it & was covered & itching like mad
we used calamine lotion to take the itch out

Hi pms, sorry I was late getting back to you (dd feeling sick). Yeah...the baking powder one, if I remeber rightly I put about 2 table spoons in bath water. I hope she feels better soon ;)
My eldest has her sats too next week & son is away with school for a week. It's been so frustrating trying to get dd to understand things, she still hasn't mastered telling the time. She does need learning support but I'm worried for her when she goes to senior school :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Pursey - that's so odd, possibly something to do with your cookies/connection somehow? I was going to ask what browser you're using but if it's still doing it on the beautiful iPad I can't understand it! Have a check and let us know if the thanks are being recorded x

I have only used the iPad for the first time today, so I am not sure if it is doing it on there, but from my laptop it is definitely doing it. I am saving the comps I enter now to a spreadsheet and both thanking and entering the posts.

I think that it could be something to do with cookies/connection, but I am not the best with technology, so I am not sure. I am using Mozilla, could that make any difference? x

    Good morning everybody :).
Pursey, I notice when I've clicked thanks and enter on comps, by the time I've clicked enter the thanks button has often reappeared. I put it down to the fact that I click thanks and enter too quickly. But once I've clicked thanks again it stays clicked afterwards. Hope this helps.

    Hi everyone,

Bucketing down here today but I expect the garden is needing it!
DS has his first Standard Grade Exam today - he isn't quite 15 yet so it seems so young. They sit them a year younger than they used to which I don't think is a good idea. Could be a stressful few weeks as DD is picking her subjects next week too.
Hope you all have a great day.

Can anyone confirm what the status is on multiple entries, I have access to unlimited email addresses if the T&Cs do not disallow multiple entries can I enter multiple times?

Well hooray - my very first win. Just a little one, a Something Special magazine (I think they were giving 10,000 away!) but a win nonetheless!

Pms - When my eldest 2 had chickenpox I found piriton to be great to stop the itching, hope LO is btter soon.
  • I have a question for you guys - is there ever a case where you might win, for example a holiday, and decline due to poor timing etc, and the company would try to get u to fork out for it due to some dodgy fineprint in the T&C?

Cheers, would be a great help if someone can answer this!
