Afternoon all,
Went out this morning and ran a few errands: dropping off prescriptions, Posting some letters, donating bits and bobs to the Charity shop. So its lovely to put me feet up with a coffe and the laptop and catch up with the comps.

hi forum, does anyone know when the bar/star rating will be back up? havent been entering much comps when it has gone. as i only really enter the 4 and 5 bar ones.

Hitmonlee - MSE Andrea posted they wouldn't be bringing it back AFAIK they're having a WOW factor button instead

Fire**fly - Sorry to hear you're still feeling under the weather, hopefully you'll pull through it quickly! The weather widget thing on my computer desktop says it's 23 degrees in Gravesend right now, so a lot warmer than it has been for a week or so. Hopefully the sun will spread over to you tomorrow

PMS - I can't remember the last time we went to the pictures & had a meal out.... really have to see about getting some vouchers & doing it when I'm better Sounds like you had a good but soggy time (also still doing a mini swoon each time I see your avatar)

kaytofu - I only entered that one recently (playing catch up) & was surprised they sent an email this morning to acknowledge my entry & say they would be in touch on 14th June to let me know if my taste buds were up to the challenge :rotfl: Can't smell or taste a think just now so I hope there is nothing going to happen fast!

comping cat - Now that is what I call dedication! Never watched the show myself so I'm grateful to you & the other posters for all the daytime shows x

Molly - hope you had some nice choccy biccies with that coffee, mmmm, we don't have biscuuits in the house because they get eaten - yeah I know that's what they are for but they aren't meant to go in one sitting!

Are you from Gravesend VG? I have only been there once on a shopping trip when my sister lived near Ashford but I am always amazed how hot it seems to get! We really need some of your heat up here.We are having a rotten summer after a wet May (twice usual rainfall!)

Would like to thank you for your dedication too Comping Cat as I never watch daytime TV.

Just having a nice cup of coffee now before I have another look at some comps.

This place is really rather too quiet...where IS everyone these days? Finally we're getting some decent weather; it's been raining literally EVERY day for over a month here in Scotland. Shame I have to spend some of today at work.

Morning all,

Been out to the library this morning and borrowed some new books for DD. Got her a "Spot The Dog" book which brought back some happy childhood memories.

I really need to get some washing on as I want to make the most of this lovely sunny drying weather!
