Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a great, lucky day. The sun has been shining all day here - can't believe it! Unfortunately I had to wait in for Br. Gas engineer to service my boiler It was booked in March but they were so busy this was the first available appointment! Got my washing out too Molly. Hopefully the sun will be back tomorrow as we are planning a nice walk around a nearby Loch before getting our weekly shop.

It depends which part of Glasgow you're based in....I'm about 10 minutes train ride from town...moved here a few weeks back.

Just popping in swiftly - tackling the garden today big time!!! When our wee doglet was with us, it was impossible to do anything, cos he would follow us around and when he saw us pulling up weeds etc and pruning, he would do the same!! Bless him, he did try to help but he pulled up everything within sight lol - he thought he was helping but it was bye bye nice plants . So we sort of gave up for a while - but now im sure he's with me in spirit cos he used to steal all me gardening implements and hide them and blow me, i have now lost me secateurs, me trowel etc.


I blame him but ...... maybe .... im getting a wee bit forgetful lol!!!!! No doubt they will turn up - god im turning into me mum from years gone by big time :rotfl:

Sheils - hope you have a lovely walk round the loch tomorrow and that the weather is kind. Pleased you got the boiler done - our boiler has a mind of its own - getting on in years now but touch wood still trucking on - sort of!! We have had beaut day here today after a couple of days rain (which was badly needed tho, particularly for the farmers down here). Think it may be wet for us tomoro in our county hence me trying to do gardening today. Guessing tomoro will be catch up with comps day!!!

Molly - 'Spot the dog' Oh, brought back so many memories - we still have all the books upstairs (kids are now mid 20's and late 20's but they recall spot well)!!!:D How they loved those stories when they were bairns - also still have all the old VHS tapes too - I like to hang on to all the childhood memories

Oh well - got a pile of stuff in the garden to cut up now and get ready for the garden recycling at the tip.

I won that in Glamour too but not had anything yet either, DD in shower now washing her hair - she's nicked my Soap & Glory shampoo!!

My DD has an enormous box of make-up, shampoo etc and still tries to nick any wins I get!:)

Same here hun, I have to keep a lot of mine hidden from her lol but I must have left my shampoo out when we got back from swimming yesterday.

Does anyone else suffer from this?

Moving through all those pages can sometimes cause my hands to feel funny. I think it would be a good idea to stop comping lol.
