    Annie,

Glad to hear there is a happy ending to the tail ;) (I know very bad pun but it was intended)

    All the best.

    Good morning folks.
We had the celestial watering can here for a little while yesterday afternoon.
The grass has greened up nicely again - it was looking more July than May!!
The yellow ball is here to play at the moment and hopefully will stay a while.
We planted some more runner beans yesterday. The plants DH grew earlier do not seem to want to grow and climb... can't imagine the summer without runner beans :(
The DDs favourite meal of the year is the first hg runner bean meal. They enjoy roast beef with runner beans and gravy, with runner beans and gravy for pudding :) It's been that way for years!
Off I go to shower and get ready for church. Might be back later.
    Cheers m'dears, Silver x
PS thanks for the tip about the gardening book Ceridwen, I shall look it up x

    Tiny rant

Having run out of all other things edible for brekkie we're left with the weetabix, but no milk. So I tried making rice milk to go on it.

I now have a jug of what looks like fake semen in my fridge. I don't think hubby will be happy with it on his cereal.

    Poop :(

Sorry, I know this is going back a bit, but I just read it and burst out laughing. My dd1 (12yrs) is desperate to know what I am laughing about, but I don't think I will be sharing this one.:D Can't stop giggling to myself:rotfl:

KIDKAT - you mentioned needing a new vacuum cleaner. Just wanted to say we bought this one from argos about 8 months ago:
Argos Value VC-403 Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner

its £37.99 but it is the best vacuum we've EVER had and we've had dysons and hoovers before but this one beats them hands down.

One of those days today...quick query here.

I'm trying to start up my washing machine as normal to do a load - and I think it must have got some sort of child lock inadvertently set off. Whatever programme I try to do - I turn the knob to get to it and it starts beeping at me and there is a "key" symbol showing up in control panel.

its a Bosch Excel 7 washing machine only type washing machine - and I cant find the darn manual either (duh! why not I ask myself? - as I keep all kitchen manuals in a kitchen drawer).

Errr....anyone got the same model please and know how to turn off that darn child lock purlease?:o

Thanks JenniO will look into that one.

Ceridwen - silly question but do you have any children nearby you can borrow, my mums machine has a child lock and my DS7 always turns it off for her. :)
