Don't tell me I will have to eat sprouts??!!!:eek::eek: I would rather eat FK but dont tell her that. She is cooking nicely in front of the fire. It's like winter here at the moment!
Same here. The leaves on the trees were so damaged by the storm here that the leaves are all dead and falling off. With a temperature of 12 degrees most days, it really feels like Autumn.0 -
Don't remember any cakes!

I put a bowl of malt vinegar on the kitchen side when i cook fish. Vinegar absorbs the smell. Leave it overnight and you can usually get rid in the morning. Shouldn't have any fishy smells.

Mardatha I work for Sir Roger, and we were all wondering in work on Friday what the wholesale price hike is going to mean for prices, and our customers. At the moment personally, I have a good deal, which is 4% below the current rate, but am swapping to a fixed rate this week. This will be the first fixed rate I have ever bought. I am just glad I fixed MIL's prices for her a couple of months ago, for the next 18months, and before that she had 3 years of fixed prices, so event though the prices went up and then down, she was still paying less then I was. I would suggest to everyone, as Martin has already said, to fix your energy price if you can. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
