I really think you should stay away form rings, anything with hearst and anything over about £30. it doesn't matter if you can afford it, it is what is appropriate for the length of time you've known each other, and the depth of relationship you have.

If she likes Radio dramas, see if youc na find a nice box set of ones she might like. Getting something that shows you have listened to things she has told you, will show how much you like her.

    I like that:D

I know you could say, well, you may not even like each other in two months, but I do not really have anyone else to buy for and I do want it to be something that is either useable or fairly beautiful!

I wouldn't get her a ring that looks like an engagement ring, or a heart necklace, unless you are abit more serious about your relationship that you sound here. You've made it sound like you are just friends having fun and a laugh together, she might be a bit embarassed to suddenly get a ring/necklace like that, and how would you feel if she didn't want to wear it? The radio books sound alot better, and if that is what she likes then she will probably appreciate them alot more. Finding a guy who listens to what you say or notices what books/music you like is really good, and will show you're interested in her in a much more subtle yet attractive way than a big ring, as well as being more appropriate for this stage in your relationship.

I always think you cant go wrong by doing this:-

    - Make a list of all the perfume she has (or at least the ones she wears)
    - Take list to perfume counter in Debenhams
    - Take 10 mins to discuss with (usually cute) female assistant which perfumes would be a good choice... impress her with your level of dedication on the subject
    - Pick one (the cheapest)

    Job done!

But then again, I am single, so it obviously doesnt work all the time

I think I want something enduring so that if I do stil know her in years to come that she will still have it.

Perfume usually lasts longer than my relationships

(and i'm talking about the little testers)
  • How about a charm bracelet? You can buy charms for all occasions and it would be personal to the two of you..

    How about something like

    this

    this

    or this

All really simple designs, and really nice in "real life" ie. not a picture on the net. I would echo previous advice about not spending too much money, and steering clear of anything religious or heart-shaped at this stage. Also be wary of rings, and earrings - the former because they are a sign of something more serious, and the latter because if she doesn't like it you can't return it, whereas with a pendant or a bracelet you can.

More similar ideas here . I work for the company so a bit biased :o but if you want any help/advice about jewellery just PM me and I'll see what I can do.
