i havent read any of this thread but im annoyed by you making a sweeping statement dumbing down men by saying they need help in choosing gifts for women. Why always trying to make men look stupid and clueless????

I am sure she would love me to pass wind under the bed covers. That is probably the motorway route to a slap!!:beer:0 -

To be honest ... I think £100 is too much to spend ....as your relationship is not that serious I think she may be a little embarrassed.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

I have worked out that is what I can afford. I know our relationship is not serious but I want to buy the right thing and something good quality that she likes.:beer:0 -

That is not really the point ....just because you can afford it - does not mean she will be comfortable with you spending that on her. At the stage you are in your relationship you do not really know her so do not know what she would really like ..she would much rather have a cheaper thoughtful gift that does not make her feel uncomfortable about the money you have spent.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

I do not know if I love her yet. So you are probably right not to go and buy something grand, but I do want to love her, I think- I just want to get something that says I am sweet on her and I like her.:beer:0
