I have to decide quick as she is going home in about 2 weeks at the end of term. I think I have some good ideas now.
Cheers!!!!!!!:beer:0 -
If she isn't religious (and I think you said in a post once that she wasn't as this was a future/possible problem for you) I definitely wouldn't get her a St Christopher as she probably wouldn't wear it/appreciate it. I also wouldn't get jewellery if you want to see it on her unless you know her tastes pretty well, I know a boyfriend of mine at uni got me a brooch which he clearly liked for Christmas and which I hated. I never wore it which probably upset him as well (and I threw it out the window when we broke up). Going for something more neutral that you know she will like, even if not a romantic present might go down better, like a book she wants to read and some chocolates she likes, or some cinema tickets, a favorite dvd etc...They are also not very serious presents which seems more appropriate if you haven't known her long and are more at a 'good friends having fun' stage rather than a deep relationship. There is plenty of time for more expensive presents later.0

My 14 year daughter old loved her St Christopher that her grandparents bought her. I am not so fond of them myself but I do think that the silver ingot style ones are the nicest. This is the same as the one she had....
She lost it on holiday and was very upset about it.

It just makes it easier if you are the same religion.
That is all!:beer:0 -

Why does it make things easier? I've dated Athiests, Agnostics, Roman Catholics and 'other' christians, never been a problem.
If you have respect for each other - these things don't make a blind bit of difference in my opinion.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

That is what I am going for. She likes Radio dramas and she has some audio books on CD, so it seems a good thing that she might like.:beer:0
