Firewall for Win7?
Comments
-
Unless you require full control of incoming and outgoing connections (most dont)
I certainly don't.windows inbuilt firewall is fine
That's good enough for me.Either way, PC TOOLS latest incarnation isnt very good
That's interesting. It seemed to disappear and be unavailable for a while but now it seems to be available again.id recommend COMODO if you do require full control
If I ever get around to getting some serious training in all this PC stuff I might know what I'm doing. Until then I'll go without full control. I'll use the Win7 one, along with Defender, Avast, Spybot, Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and Ccleaner.
Thanks for all the replies - way more than I'd expected.
And by the way, Rik's opinion, even if unreferenced, is is more than good enough for me, and probably most other people who have lurked in these parts for a while.0 -
