Floor has started to emerge again :)

At the mo I have a 1/3rd of a bag of rubbish and 1/3rd of a bag of toys which will needed sorting and cleaning at a later date to either go to loft or CS.

I have also found 3 odd socks,1 vest, 2 tshirts, 1 pair of trousers, 4 water bottles, the small brush for my hoover and a million pencils 9well not quite but you know what I mean.)

Just tried to pay for my Asda shop and my card won't work. Forgot I had to cancel it on Friday (strange transaction on my account)and am waiting for a new one. So will have to transfer the money into another account and go from there. Will do it later while I am' having lunch and multi task.

  • Thanks JackieG. I already have my zoo tickets paid for by tesco clubcard. I might go to the aquarium at Queensferry with the Scotrail promotion or Stirling castle- not really sure which one will be the best. I can't find a cheap way into Edinburgh Castle but will probably look from afar and walk up Arthur's seat and visit the parks. want to spend a day at a beach as well (i know it's April but not living near the sea it fascinates me!) Hopefully we will have fun and not spend a lot cos we are away next month.

Its nigh-on impossible to get cheap tix for the castle. Deep Sea world is fantastic, I would definitely go there if I were you but I do love Stirling Castle too. Do whichever's cheapest. :)

Had another thought, there is an Explorer pass for Historic Scotland, which you can use for Stirling and Edinburgh castles, which is about £50 for a family for 3 days, have a look at the historic scotland website.

When we come up to Scotland camping again, I'll know who to come to for cheap day out ideas :D

The floor is really starting to appear now. More of the same sort of things found plus a stash of coins, tupperware and toilet roll (I don't know either :rotfl:) The black bags are filling rapidly. I have found so much lego it is unbelievable. Think this is going to take me longer than expected as under the bottom bed is stuffed with toys and stuff, I am going to have to pull it out (it sits under a high sleeper) and clean under it. There is also a 2 cm gap under the shelving units which seems to be hiding toys as well. When I have finished I am going to have to take the boxes off the shelves and move them to clear under them. Luckily theyv are just the plastic shelves so I am going to take the legs off the bottom and sit them on the floor, problem solved.
