I think I might bid on it then refuse to pay, anyone wanna join me? I don't mind if I get banned by ebid, never buy from there anyway.

so is this a example of the regulars who post on this site, this site has lost all credabilty with me one of your members threatning to bring the auction format into disrepute just gets better and better.
  • So just to clarify, I am supposed to take everything you say at face value, just because you say it, but, at your request, I am also suppose to disbelieve the OP when he posts something.

    How does that work?

already told you your baiting tactics are childish your not worth responding too

    Not worth responding to?
    But you've just responded!
  • But would you not expect people selling on a new to us site to have a vested interest.

Any interest is vested one way or another, as you would not care enough to make a comment if it was not.

And as to your forum etiquette, if you read through the thread from the start, the thread was being argued as a forum should until the fifth post and the "forum etiquette" took over and basically destroyed any discussion, as those people your "forum etiquette" was attacking took offense to it.

To me your "forum etiquette" basically destroyed what could have been a good and informative discussion on neutral ground.

Instead all the post turned into what was the paranoia of the "forum etiquette" and the strange thing about it, you said it so much that your other regulars began to believe it and then began to blame those new to this site rather than seeing it for what it was and just a few oversensitive members paranoia.

That is a problem for this site that you need to fix

its the same old forum gangs who take great pleasure in diverting from the main topic insulting new members with a point of view, trying to discredit the poster and in this case the site we trade on, i think your right if this is the sort of people this site attracts we dont want them at ebid. your also right about them just joining in and not being aware of the facts, if they had looked at the FB given and recived the negative FB is still there to been seen, via the auction details a little fact the original poster failed to mention
  • Not worth responding to?
    But you've just responded!

Can you provide a link please to the negative feedback?

How many buyers does ebid have? And you want to stop MSErs from buying? Great strategy.

And you speak for every ebid seller? How did you get elected to that position?

Also, can you use capital letters and full stops?

I'm not baiting, I'm genuinely confused. It's fair enough to say the OP is only an anonymous poster, and we cannot take his word at face value, as any anonymous forum is subject to that possibility, but to then claim that we should be believing you? Why? What makes you any more credible than the OP?

I've been away and come back to find yet another ebid thread where alledged ebid sellers appear to be trying to destroy ebid and ensure that no one would ever want to get involved with such a site.

My first impression was that this is the usual ebid sellers getting together because a site other than ebid actually mentioned them, however I am sadly coming to the conclusion that I agree with earlier suggestions that as damage being done by these alledged ebid sellers is likely to cause ebid harm rather than act as a good advertisment it might actually be ebay sellers pretending to be ebid ones.

I have my own issues with ebid - as I would with any site that has cost me money, but I do find it a little sad that this thread features very highly on a google search as is likely to give ebid a great deal of very negative feedback.

It used to be 'come to ebid as we'll take all the banned sellers that ebay doesn't want' it's now looking like 'come to ebid as you can do whatever you like to your buyers and suffer no harm'.

I think that can be the only real explanation really. SherMari and Sunny Creatives are both genuine ebid sellers, and this is clear from the positive way they conduct themselves.

The posts from the other two accounts that are making all the noise contain far too many logical fallacies to be genuine. I've seen enough trolling back in my usenet days, and this is a pretty blatant example IMO.
