how can the negative be left and then removed the negative fb is plain to see your OP mislead this forum and now your trying to cover for him the fb was not removed as he stated and he also refused to post the link witch he could of done to clariffie the matter

Hmm, are you sure you are an Ebid user and can't see that the OP has been left a neg, yet it does not show?

I am only a lowly shop owner (and yes i have shops as I am in the UK and don't have stores) and whilst I will not breach forum rules by putting the seller name up here, the feedback shows excatly as I cut and pasted above as

    0%PRAISE.gifpositive comment(s)0%</SPAN>NEUTRAL.gifneutral comment(s)</SPAN>0%NEGATIVE.gif

Yet if you follow th elink above or look into seller stats it shows:

Feedback Left by the Buyer '@
NEGATIVE - doesn't like the winning price so relisted, ignores emails, bad seller

If you ask on the ebid forums I am sure they will talk you through how to see all sorts of other info

I think that is looking more likely as I would expect regular users to have a working knowledge of it.

looks like i can post links now so theres the feedback so those of you who said you could not find the fb did not look very hard did you .

That link can't be seen by people not logged into ebid. But, the seller and the 0 feedback can.

Goodness me, still arguing I see. It really is a good job I never kept a list of all the sellers on ebay who, over the years, have been involved in schill-bidding on items I was genuinely bidding-on, only to relist the same item 1 hour after 'selling' it, or all the users I reported who then got banned only to re-appear under a new ident less than an hour later. The list would run for several pages.

It is also worth mentioning that in Sept. last year, one of the 'Collectables' magazines ran a piece warning their customers to be extremely vigilant when selling on Ebay due to 'the high volume of scammers operating in this sector', with rates quoted as high as 30% of all sales leading to false 'SNAD' claims, compared to 11% on eBid and 9% on direct ownership e-commerce sites.

As for puling a listing after it has closed with a winning bid. I have done just that, but only because the item became damaged after I had listed it in the first place. I did however, communicate with the buyer and offer them a discount beforehand but they did not want it.
    Never Knowingly Understood.

    Member #1 of £1,000 challenge - £13.74/ £1000 (that's 1.374%)

    3-6 month EF £0/£3600 (that's 0 days worth)

But I would bet that in none of those instances did ebay remove any warranted negative feedback which is what this thread is about! Its the complete opposite on ebay in fact - they would never remove negative feedback for a new user who made a 'mistake'.

That is a legitimate reason, handled very well by you - completely the opposite to what this thread was opened for by the OP.

Everyone will draw their own conclusions from the posts that are being made here and on other forums (both for and against) . If you think what you are posting is helping ebid then the best of luck to you.

Point out what I have said wrong.

Please, in your great wisdom I would love to know.

My first post asked a question of the OP.

I offered a suggestion to what I suspected had happened, which turned out to be just about right, after hearing the full story.

Offered some suggested help to one of your members, that may have helped them with their problem of not getting sales.

That was the post that started your friends attacking me.

So tell me what is so wrong with that post?

This is not to any others this is to you, who are making such a damaging claim that I would like you to explain.

I do have real issues with ebid and have not been afraid to state openly what my issues are . However the way you are seemingly trying to destroy their reputation whilst pretending to be a happy ebid user strikes me as being underhand.

If you have an issue with ebid then be brave and tell us, rather than dig these holes and get this nonsense higher and higher on a google search and cause them no end of harm.

Again I will ask the same question of you what was it in my first post that you object to?

I asked a question of the OP

I suggested what I assumed had happened

I offered a suggestion to you that may help your sales, as i have noticed a lot of sellers making mistakes that are easily picked up in the ebid forums

This is what started the attacks

So what was it that was so bad about that response or untruthful about that response. That it warranted being attacked?

I don't need to explain or prove anything. Its not me who has come on here, in support (supposedly!) of ebid! Everyone reading this whole thread will draw their own conclusions to what everyone has said and at the end of the day will decide if they want to use ebid or not. As I keep saying, if you think you are helping ebid then carry on old boy!!
This is not to any others this is to you, who are making such a damaging claim that I would like you to explain.
And exactly what 'damaging claim' are you whittering on about now?! If its that damaging you are more than welcome to hit that button with the big red and white triangle on it at the bottom of each and every 'damaging' post!!
