Genuine as in with no vested interests or reason to post anything dishonest.
Re the OP, was it acceptable for the seller to make no contact, in your view?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0 -

Re the OP, was it acceptable for the seller to make no contact, in your view?
well of course i have a vested interest im a trader on ebid ive made that plain in all my posts id like you to show me were ive posted any thing dishonest.
you mean the chancer says the seller made no contact, you tell me! no one knows the facts all any one can do is comment on what the chancer says, it would be il advised to speculate away into a hypothectical retric0 -
You mean one where the OP is lying? What's that if not hypothetical?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

i dont know if the OP is lying or not i said we have no evidence to say hes telling the truth or not thats not hypothetical is it0 -
We have no evidence to believe you are not a ebid plant. Didn't stop you taking the hump, did it?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

ive told you who i am and why im here its pretty ovbious from what ive said, i guess in your eyes a cynical approach is the norm here,
taking the hump or a more friendly way of putting it is i dont appreciate a chancer slaging of the site i trade on maybethe guys a little insecure and feels the need to tell the whole world hes tried a chance and it failed looking for support were ever he can get it? it also seems to me your a bit of a baiter your first and obvious tatic is not to respond to what ive said but to ask a new question each post with little jollys in the middle "clever ebay staff" "ebid plant" witch say to me your fishing for a reaction sorry but not gonna happen, you have not once in this thread debated, confered with the subject,
your clever my friend but not that clever! and a tad obvious0 -

So you answer the question then if you had made a mistake and bid one million, then you would do what was right and pay the money?
Or are you so perfect that you have never made a mistake?0 -
As someone who buys on ebay, but doesn't sell, I'd just like to say that I won't use ebid as my impression is that ebid's policies are too pro-seller, and that there isn't sufficient buyer protection.
Reading the OP's experience just makes me even less inclined to use ebid. If what seems to me to be valid negative feedback is just removed.
Then we get the attitudes of ebid sellers on this thread, calling the OP a "Chancer" etc. If this is the typical attitude of ebid sellers, count me out.
Not that this makes any difference. When I search on the products I want on ebid, there are none.

Not just here that threads about ebid seem to feature new posters who praise ebid.0 -
Completely agree. I have never bought anything on eBid, but the attitudes of the ebid sellers posting in this thread have made sure I will never touch that site with a bargepole.0

I don't have 'my own support staff'.
And anyone can give a different email address each time and open as many IDs as they wish. Unless you've given your name, address and proof of ID to MSE? I didn't.
Personally I welcome new posters who join MSE because they need advice, or they have something to contribute.
We may be getting one new poster every now and again, let's say this thread as a higher than usual number of 'new' posters, and let's leave it at that.0
