I have been trading there for about 5 years now and I have had spells of selling regularly and other times when I didn't.
I sell fewer items on eBid than I did when I traded on eBay but at least I don't pay huge fees to list unsold items.
..new poster number four...
never seen so many new poster in one thread, all genuine I'm sure
I'm not biased against ebid one way or another, competition for ebay can only be good, but what is happening on this thread is definitely helping me making up my mind for good. And not because of the OP's complaint.0 -

and for some of us ebid has taken off, the ones that try to pass tat on dont succeed just like on any other auction site, nothing to do with whats said in forums sunshine its too do with what you offer for sale your post makes no sense at all,0 -

whats wrong with new posters ? you still under the impression were all the same person, perphaps you would like to do what i surgested earlier and check with your own support staff here bet you dont!0 -
It makes no sense to suggest that an incredibly poor attitude towards customers and customer service is hindering the rate at which it is attracting customers?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

When a poster who has been around for a while posts in favour of something, it is safe to assume they are just on the forum and are giving their two cents on it. It is not as simple to assume that when a new poster pops up, solely to praise or defend a certain company, that it is a random internet person who feels the need to do this. The probability of it being someone with a vested interest is greater.
When multiple posters join solely to defend a company, the laws of probability dictate it even more unlikely that tthese people were all just browsing, randomly came across the thread at the same time, and all felt the need to post broadly similar comments on solely the one thing.
Put simply, even if you are genuine in this case, the balance of probability suggests you are not. That is why it is good forum etiquette to point this out to people who might not realise, and would take trickery at face valueI'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0 -
It's a little worrying that you think bidding on and winning an auction is a 'scam' or 'stalking', and I really don't think after reading the above (and your join date) that you are in any position to call anyone else a stalker.
Frankly your post and behaviour is bizarre.
yes you did stalk the auction your a chancer you dident get the item so you spent all weekend moaning about it on at least two forums
,see the thing about chancers like yourself is you just cant hold your hands up and move on you have to tell the whole world what sort of games you play and how you lost, now that is bizarre, and offending lots of people while your at it.you slandered ebid witch had nothing to do with the auction they only provide the site to trade on, witch you agreed to when you signed up,or did you not read the small print! il give you a clue its much the same as any other auction site, your behaviour before, and especialy after the auction leaves a lot to be desired i for one can do without so called buyers like yourself "your blocked" and others have blocked you from what ive been told. people like you breed comtempt and mistrust0 -
If ebid is so great then wouldn't it make sense that there were some established MSEers that thought so too?
Lots of new users posting on the one thread and nowhere else on this site suggests that someone has seen this, and then gone on ebid and done a post saying "look at this, let's go and defend ebid!". Talking about slanted views.
I think the response from regulars responding on this, as someone dared to question a view, has been from one idiot accusing one person of making multiple posts, another blaming people of spamming for daring to respond and another whining because someone dared to post a response or was it dared to follow them here.
The simple fix for this is to nip off to the owner of this site and ask them to close it to any new members and to stop google spidering the site, so that posts do not appear on google news, when someone has a search for ebid set. I am sure they will oblige you?
But if this is your attitude to people you do not know and how you treat new guests to this site, then I do wonder why you are puzzled about there not being more ebid members on this site, as we tend to have a more friendly approach to people on ebid.
Really odd way to act0 -

Anybody else get the impression these new posters are clever ebay staff?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

you can assume what ever you want, me personally i saw a link on ebid forums to this place joined up and have and will give my opinion. theres no conspiracy here as you emply, you seem to mis the point that are chancer friend started a thread on ebid were thousands of people did read his posts plus theres another thread there about this very matter so i like one or two others came here, now you can read into that what ever you want! but thats how i came here, genuine what exactly does that mean? do i trade on ebid yes i do, do i read the forums there, yes i do, do i have a opinion on this matter yes i do, so no conspiracy, no private PMs to raid this forum just a few folk giving there opinion if thats ok with you0
