When charges are ongoing during a claim.

I had an initial claim for around £3000 refunded from RBS. During the time it took for them to agree to pay me and me accepting they had walloped another £150 of charges on each of my accounts. I just added them on to the total I was willing to accept. i did have a paragraph in my original couple of letters stating I reserved the right to add on charges as they imposed them. So they paid up. But lo and behold I found a £30 charge the next month for a one day overdraw whilst waiting for the cheque to be paid into my account, I wrote and again got this back but this time the bank made it clear that would be the last refund. i never accepted this in writing but as my overdraft got paid off by the returned money, and it got me out of dept I never expect to be charged again it didnt bother me. My experience is ask and you will recieve.:beer:New comp-a-holic!!:j

Today I just check my balance and have been charged another £100 I sent the 2nd letter last week what do I do please?
thanks0 -
Please anyone help!0

Claim for that aswell surely. Do whatever you state in the 2nd letter and add £100.
All the best with it.0 -
What do I just send another letter like the 2nd letter but add on £100 or wait for a response or send it with the next one?0
-
You can only wait so long for a response!!! Sending a repeat 2nd letter with a revised amount sounds like a good idea, it certainly won't hurt. Then take court action if you've not received an apprproiate response in time.0

I am in the process of taking my bank to court via moneyclaim. Since my warning letter (ignored) and even as I fill in the forms the Bank is still applying penalty charges. Can I add these to the Court case later, or must I treat them as a separate case to be refunded later?0

Once you have started your claim online you can't add charges to it so it will need to be another claim.0

thank you Edinburghl;!!! - impressed by your very prompt reply!!0

One more thing Lass - having submitted my claim online - must I wait for that to process before writing a new 'initial' letter to my Bank?
I'd love to do it now while I'm in the mood for action..0
