    Hi makeup,

thanks for the smoke bombs tip - that was to be my next plan of action, but so far ( fingers crossed whilst touching wood etc) I seem to have beaten them. I'll be able to re treat cat with spot on stuff this weekend, so that should repel any die hard determined critters.

I have a deep & personal loathing of mail order; whilst working at home some years back, I had a neighbour who seemed to be obsessed with buying stuff from next directory. She was at work all day & without even asking me, informed the courier to knock on my door & take in parcels . After 3 days in a row & never a thank you from neighbour ( she'd send her round to collect parcels) I refused to take in any more & the courier got really shirty with me, saying it was only one item & she'd have to come back later to deliver.

Yes, dear, that's what you get paid for :p.

My lovely postie is well aware of my ebay habit & either shoves stuff through the cat flap or in the shed for me :T.

    Moooooving on;

I'm regaining my life after 6 months of needing to park my plans :j. It seems that for so long I was consumed by DDs school trips, productions, SATs, new school meetings, school holidays & childcare, organzing holiday & funding it, new uniform, starting school & then birthdays.

It's all calmed down again now & after a very busy week last week, Home-job has eased somewhat, debt is nearing the end of it's life span & I finally have some headspace.

I've paid £120 to the Custard Coloured CC which brings the balance to ..... £280.

I have also ( & I'm more surprised than anyone) done a Davina supersculpt work out tonight.

It very nearly annihilated me & despite a long soak in the bath, I fear for my thigh muscles tomorrow _pale_.

With just under 13 weeks to the end of this calendar year I need to get started on the exercise.

Plan is to alternate more energetic sessions with yoga ones to keep the balance. Monday, Wednesday & Fridays are for intense exercise, then Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday are for yoga. Sunday is a total rest day unless walking or cycling.

Whatever path my life takes, daily exercise needs to be a non negotiable part of it. Good health & fitness will enable all other adventures. Bad health & lack of fitness will prevent them.

Plenty of good sleep is also part of the plan ...

    G'night :D
    xx

Hi love, I feel the same about excercise. I'm obviously not doing much at the minute but as soon as my life is sorted! I'll be joining the gym and on it 4/5 times per week to keep the lard off!

Good for you on the other plans. X

    Thanks Souk,

not fully up to date with your stuff but have skimmed bits & sending you many positive vibes lovely xx.

Taxi - lovely to see you popping in & out here, much appreciated :T.

I ache, & it serves me right for not sticking with the Davina schedule, imagine if I had - I'd have legs like J Lo ( I wish :D). Instead I have the same old stumps, just with added stiffness :rotfl:.

Work is hectic & I have loads to do , but can't finalise anything as waiting for client feedback. As always, I'm just not good at this 'last minute' type of business, it doesn't sit well with my need for organisation, schedules & detail. The last thing I needed today was to have brainstorming session on the new website.

I threw a few ideas in & then sat there feeling agitated at all the stuff I need to get done & also realising that I don't give a monkey's hooter about the website or the business in general. I am so emotionally detached I don't even want to have any input. I am jaded, fatigued & uninspired.

This needs to be addressed & I'm thinking on it, just not ready to divulge my thoughts or ides yet.

Not too much home-job work so enough time to whizz round with the hoover. The leaning pile of paper is threatening to to drown me so that's another thing to deal with, alongside all those niggly home things that are mounting up too.

Managed another NSD :j & also went for a brisk 15 minute walk early evening, which helped to clear my head a bit but did nothing to heal my poor legs. A brief yoga session & soak in the bath had a small effect but I'm due another workout tomorrow so hope I wake up feeling brighter as I've been struggling to stay alert since midday.

Loving the Kelly Hoppen interiors show & glued to Mary Queen of Frocks too , although not too sure about the clothes. Wanted to see the blue green print dress in more detail. I love those turquoise suede shoes though :D

Too tired so off to bed now,

    G'night
    xx

    Ah yes Skinty :rotfl:

I did wander over to the website & have to say that as far as the clothes are concerned, the only item I would buy is this. I love it :D.

I've not even dared to look at the shoes, bags, accessories collections, I do not trust myself. I'll have to stick to ebay for now :(.

So, today has been one of my most miserable days at work-job. I wont bother to bore you with details, needless to say the Goblin was involved.

I am struggling to motivate myself at work at the moment; I hate the dark mornings, hate the dark evenings & am trying hard to resign myself to the knowledge that it will just keep getting darker the deeper we get into winter.

Had a hideous amount of home-job work to do & finished after 7. My legs are still sore & I decided to give a work out a miss tonight. DD went off to bed at 8.30 so I found myself with not much to do so realised I might as well just get on with it, so I did :j. I felt much better afterward & my legs are actually less sore than before :D.

We're hibernating for the rest of the week & plan on having a very lazy weekend involving magazines, books, tv & maybe a trip to the cinema too - I've not spent any Fun Fund money for a while so have plenty for film & food.

I've had another NSD today & might well manage another tomorrow; I have a meeting with DDs tutor so no time for shopping after school, that can wait til Friday.

So tired again, need to stock up on vitamins I think.

Will report any savings or payments tomorrow,

    G'night

Hi Lula! I'm back from my mum's - good to see you posting again, but sorry work is so horrible at the mo ...

What you said about feeling bad from exercise, doing it and feeling better is exactly what my ballet mistress used to say! You're doing brilliantly to self motivate like that

    Hello again,

welcome home Karma, catching up on your diary is on my 'to do' list so please bear with me until then.

Today, work-job was quite acceptable; Goblin was a completely different person. I do wonder whether perhaps I'm taking her moods too personally & that she is completely under the influence of raging hormones & just directing all the rage at me as I'm the easiest target ?

Whatever the reason, I don't have to see or hear it for 3 and a half days :j.

No home-job for 3 and a half days either & the meeting with the tutor was short & sweet. DD has settled in well, working hard & had good results in her 'interims' :).

I've topped up the cash funds as follows :

    Childcare £80
    Presents £40
    Fun £60

I've been a bit naughty & not actually paid for last week's skincare goodies with my pocket money. I didn't wanna :p. I might yet have to pay some cash in to the bank though ...

I received the car insurance renewal quote today ... they want an extra £50 this year, although i have another years no claims & the car has depreciated in value again.

Quick trip to quidco & comparison site & I found the same level of cover for the same price as this year with another insurer ... & £42.50 cashback. Nearly used the CC to pay for it, then noticed the fee for the pleasure of paying by CC so quickly transferred cash from savings fund to current account & then paid using debit card :D.

It cost less than I had saved up in the fund so I have paid the difference to the CC & the outstanding balance is now £260.

I'm getting quietly excited about becoming DF. After much deliberation I've concluded that I'm not too bothered by having a shiny new 0% CC at the moment either. I'm looking forward to not 'having' to make regular payments.

With all the savings funds now just a natural part of my living expenses & the second year running of paying for car insurance from saved up money I feel a real sense of pleasure & achievement from that.

The limit on my CC is adequate for emergencies & I hope to get that same sense of achievement from saving up to buy things that I may need, or rather want to enhance life & home :D.

I'm very impressed with DD at the moment. She is feeling a yearning for an i-pod touch. She is saving up for this with a combination of money received for her birthday & pocket money. I insisted that some of her birthday money goes in the bank, but that she can have half towards the i-pod. Once she's added up her total savings I think I'll add it to my signature in recognition of her efforts & to keep me motivated too.

Trip to Sainsbugs tomorrow to use double points voucher so I'll report the spends when done.

No exercise done today :o but I pledge to make up for it tomorrow.

    G'night

ETA - thanks Rosa, missed your post while I was typing, hope all ok with you ?
    xx

Hiya! No, don't worry about that, I haven't updated it - I might today, just a Sainsbug bargains post, since I'm officially still on holiday, I'm just wandering about in the early morning :)

Woo hoo! This is going to be great, Lula!
