Will it show as 2.8% on your accounts page, or will it show the variable web saver 0.10%?

Not sure, as I still have the old online banking. Apparently I'm getting the new one on 18th April....

To answer my own question, it doesn't show an interest rate (I'm on the new online layout).

It won't on the day of opening.

If you've funded today (and aren't stuck on Glider's old online banking) you should be able to check the rate tomorrow.

I'm probably the only customer still using it, so it is worthy of being called glider's!!

If you qualify for the 0.2% "bank account" loyalty bonus I'd leave £1 in the Web Saver Extra and then close it after the interest is paid on the anniversary of the account opening.

    Otherwise you'd lose the 0.2%.

are there any limits on online internal transfers from current account to web saver reward?

I have to transfer from a Santander 3% account to this 3% account so if there is a limit of say £20K, then it's more sensible to do multiple 20K BACs to minimise interest loss... rather than transfer a large amount and leave it in the current account for several days doing a 20K internal transfer every day?

I wish this sort of info was more clearly stated by the institutions.

Last I heard it was £15k per transaction, but you can do as many transactions as you like in a day.

Best to do them from your normal computer to save having your online access blocked.

Is this account genuinely instant access? i.e Unlike their Guaranteed Saver Reward which has an 48 hour delay on withdrawals which you dont find out about until you try it.

Yup, opened it and tried it, instant in and instant out (to my Halifax Reward C/A).

Thanks for this - just opened one.
The sort code is different from all my other Halifax accounts (which are the same). Is this normal?
