Yep..she seems to have been "vanished" under both usernames....odd....because she must have got MSE themselves to "change her username" in the first place - as her post count by signature had stayed the same after the username. So - I cant see that MSE would have banned her themselves (leastways not without someone "stirring" them into doing so - and I cant honestly see why they would - as there was nowt objectionable in her posts before or after "namechange"). I wonder if someone outside MSE has come in and had her banned - for reasons quite other than any posts she has made on here? (as I know she must be pretty "unpopular" in "other quarters" because of her other blog - think I googled and found that under Trallwm Farm before?. Ie the blog she does re her animal sanctuary).
Anyways - her blog info seems to have reappeared - so for anyone interested:

EDIT; re-found her other blog (ie the Animal Sanctuary one).

Thanks ceridwen for the link. There are lots of interesting recipes on there.
Re allotments, developers have long been itching to get their hands on the land and councils have tried all sorts to make it happen. It is a constant battle.
We had a drive to have a min. 95% occupancy on ours because of this. Ours are privately owned but managed by a council group and we pay a lot more than those on council owned allotments.
we have a group who run a couple of allotments to teach children about gardening and show them what they can grow in a back yard. This is such a good thing I would hate this to stop.0 -

I printed the instructions off from http://happyhomemaker88.com If my link doesn't work (had a bit of trouble with it) you can still get there if you google that address. I also found other sites showing how to make enzymes and guess what? Folk are drinking them (for medicinal purposes, obviously). Think I'll pass on that one.
Edited to say: you can also use peel in pot pourri and I believe some people dry it slowly and use it as firelighters (never tried this).'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe

'Twas I that found that link to the home-made enzyme cleaner...so many experiments to do...so little time...so I still havent tried that particular one yet. Got several experiments of a food description that I am planning to complete over the course of this weekend as 'tis...so my experiments generally are still based largely round food:p
Howsomever - I would be interested in having links to the websites you mention re "drinking" enzymes please.:D My guess is that that is too do with the fact that I gather the body finds it harder to produce digestive enzymes as it gets older?? (but then I'm no medic - so dinnae know whats what on that...).0 -

Should hopefully be able to move fence - as others have already done so the "precedent" has been set - just need to submit drawing to committee to get their approval. I did originally want to move it as the side of my garage is in the wasteland itself meaning access to it is very difficult (the builders apparently put 1/2 the garden fences in the wrong place & you can see where it should've been put if you look up the line). This would extend the garden by about 5 feet. However, a little bit extra for a small veg patch would be fantastic. Neighbours further up have extended by about 15 feet so would good to line up with that to keep the fence line tidy but there's a small matter of a gate (that the 5 feet would take me up to) at my end so not sure how to work around that:question:. May be busy with a measuring tape later!
ceridwen, yes I am in Scotland - near Edinburgh. Re any foragers, there is honestly no one goes into it and there is nothing in it apart from grass and weeds (believe me, I looked when I 1st moved in as I thought there may be bramble bushes etc). I so wish they'd planted a few apple/plum trees etc when they did it as there would be a lovely lot of fruit for the estate by now. The above mentioned gate is between me & my neighbour and is padlocked. It truly is wasted land and I discovered on Weds night that it's the size of 6:eek: football pitches (apparently a football pitch is between 1.5 & 2 acres) so that's a HUGE piece of land.
There's no allotment land to be had in the county (big waiting lists) and it's just soooooooooooooo frustrating to see it lying there doing nothing apart from grow weeds/grass up to your waist & being a haven for mice - my big cat brought me 21 the other day! The wee cat just brings them in the house - ALIVE!
Awwwww tumpty,:rotfl: that's why she's a saleswoman!:rotfl:
Saorsie - ouch to the spots, I'm afraid did have a chuckle at the thought of you & DH discovering them!
Kerry - glad you've got some work for next week, I did a lot of "exam watching" when I was temping, fingers crossed for a perm job soon.
Sandra - sorry to hear DH had a bit of a tumble.
Lesley - it never fails to astound me that some people don't have better things to do with their time! Nevermind, glad you're still here.
Sorry about the long post:eek:.
Does anyone have any good ideas on what I could use to clean my oven? (totally horrible) I've run out of oven cleaner and don't really want to buy more if I can help it.
Mist's not lifted here since Weds & not looking like it's going to go anywhere today either so may have to head inland to find some sun!
Have a Good Friday everyone:easter_os
I've discovered that stubborn oven dirt can be loosened considerably by putting a baking dish of boiling water in the oven when it's on (about 180-200) and leaving it in there for half an hour. The oven suddenly becomes much easier to clean. Handy to do this whilst baking bread so that you get the steam from the water to help the bread on it's way at the same time.Sealed pot member 735

Thanks for this very strange the only thing I thought of was could it be the programme makers that have asked her to not post - just a thoughtEmma :hello:0 -

The sites seem to be owned mostly by people from SE Asia and I don't know if they approach it from the western medical perspective, complementary medicine or traditional Asian medicines. I've never heard of such fruit enzymes in the UK before (until you mentioned them, that is) but that might just be my ignorance. I also wonder if the enzyme will take longer to brew in the UK than in those warmer climates, so we might need a bit more patience? Anyway, here are two sites about enzymes for drinking:

Hmm, the links are going a bit funny, you might have to cut and paste...seriouslyfrugal wrote: »Thanks for this very strange the only thing I thought of was could it be the programme makers that have asked her to not post - just a thought
Yes, I was thinking that. It would make sense from their point of view. What a shame, though.'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe

sorry, one of those sites is about using it for cleaning. Duh!
Wonder if it's any good for cleaning ovens? You'd have to wait three months though...:D'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe
