Thank you alec eiffel. My daughter looked online and discovered Debenhams had her size and also noticed figleaves. When we can face it again we will try Debenhams first. Here dead we lie because we did not choose

i keep looking at the mortgage-free-wannabe area and then run away scared! we had been overpaying lots since the big rate crash (basically still paying what we were before so not noticed it, but eroding capitol quite well). but we're moving now so all that's ended as we've had to take a higher % rate.
I'll be very interested to see how your own frugal challenge impacts on your MFW challenge.
The MFW threads not so scary, I've found the others there very supportive and the interest you can save long term is the main factor for me wanting to be MF (along with the secuirty!)
Hopefully anywhere where I can cut down current costs, or generate extra income can only be of benefit to my overall target.
Been busy turfing my lawn today so not had chance to have a good look through all the links on here just yet.miss_empty_piggy wrote: »Good evening all and welcome to LP!!rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Welcome to Lincoln-Potter and DestroyerofDebt

£10 on petrol, £2.50 at Mr S, £1.80 for a paper, went to a free drawing event in the day then in the evening a Gospel concert where a friend of mine was singing. Felt embarrased cos I didn't have any money on me for the charity collection though. I didn't think about that.0

Take care.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Been to a car boot today - bit of a disappointment. Covered my costs and made £16 (DM made £26) but sold most of that between 9:15 when we arrived & 10 when it opened. Not long back & absolutely chilled to the bone & have the shivers (was sunny but a really cold wind) so just a quick catch up while that bath is running!
That's a shame rising from the ashes but at least you made something and had a declutter tooTrallwm_Farm wrote: »Quote:

Don't you bother what people say Lesley. I would love to be thought of as a fanatical tomato sauce maker... it's certainly different

Good luck with this, hope you get it. From what I can see, an allotment is 1/16 of an acre or around 250 sq m, so I'm guessing you might get more than you bargained for. Regardless of size, it'll be great, so fingers crossed for you. When will you hear?I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
