Took one of my cats Marmalade to the vets today and unfortunately she may have liver cancer.she's staying in tonight for blood tests and an ultra sound tomorrow. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Oh Ruby I'm sorry to hear that. I'll think positive thoughts for your wee moggy and hope it's not bad news. *hugs*0

Thank you flying fresian - she's only seven my youngest one!
I think it will be bad news - the liver is enlarged and the vet says it feels rough whereas if it was another liver condition it would still feel smooth.
She's lost so much weight so quickly!
She's still eating well and running around and reasonably happy in herself so she'll still be with us for a while. XHere dead we lie because we did not choose

The first time I did an online supermarket shop I cried! It took me so long to do, that I missed my delivery slot 3 times, and I felt stupid that I couldn't grasp it. Now, I zoom around my favourites, and am a right ol' pro!
I'm also a right ol' tart, cos I use any supermarket that's offering me a voucher, and make sure that half the shop is for bulky items on special offer. DH and I both have arthritis trouble, especially in our shoulders, and a Sainsbury's trip, buying things like 6 packs of dog food, that have to be lifted from the shelf, put in the trolley, lifted onto the conveyor belt, put in the trolley, lifted into the car, lifted out of the car, then finally carried into the kitchen, puts me in a murderous mood.
Home deliveries cuts out all of the above steps, and super discounts like this, are just up my frugal street! Enjoy your bargain.

I had only just done my top up shop so shopping now seems a bit weird! I got another £7 back through a cashback site as well though :-)
This weekend I am chicken sitting for the neighbours which means free eggs but one of them is broody. I lost a broody hen a few years ago - they starve to death if you don't keep making sure they feed.
I'm having to check her a few times a day, think I might dunk her in a bucket of water later if she is sitting, that is supposed to lower their temperature and snap them out of it - any ideas appreciated!0 -

So cute....
Spoke to my e-cig veteran who said once I get used to the e-cig the costs will go down which is a relief..
Latest crisis is ODing on my latest kit (holds 2 ml of juice and has a nice bubbling sound) and then like putting really weak juice in that had no flavour (cos it was so weak) so now had to order extra flavours..
It's only the odd extra £10 here and there but it soon adds up ..
At this rate I shall be doing 100% diy mixing - though am not prepared to ditch my 36mg vanilla so will use that as a base
might ditch the 36mg horrid sweet yucky tobacco one though from china
Try and sell it if I can on the forum. Gave away a pack of mega dodgy cartos yesterday but I bought a heap of 2nd class stamps before the postage price went up so it went on one of those....
and what with trying to save for holidays in 4 weeks time the OD is not healthy - so praying I can like mega pad come august (when DV e-cig expenses will be lower)
Hope everyone has a good day - had a good trip to Mr M the other day - came to about £7 and got sensitive toothpaste whoopsied at 40p a tube :T
Of course with all my e-cig whoopsies treats for going a week without cigs were frugal - one starbucks @ £1 and a new earring kit @ < £1

hey all.
Love the teensy tiny kittens
I'm all out of money till Monday now. I have scratched around in the pot for some change for a stamp to send my OU financial support application away.
I'm a determined to never let things get this tight again and watch what we spend, plan and budget. It's been a huge learning curve.
Have a good day everybody0
