Hi, I think I am doing ok with the organising. I agree with you about the photographers, some of them are just ridiculously expensive. Luckily we managed to find one that is £395 for 2 hours, but that is all photos on cd royalty free and photobook. The CD was what we were after!
Think we are going to look at wedding rings this weekend, as price of gold is rising, so that will make it very real! I think I am 9 days away from 14 month Mark!!:T0 -
quite glad im allergic to gold right niow the prices are stupid crazy!!!! really dont envy that shopping trip johanna!!!!!

YAY o dont say 14 months thats like not so far awayThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
I am actually looking forward to it. I have to have 18k White gold so it won't rub with my engagement ring. May save with OH's one though as he may not get one, or may go for a cheaper metal, but it is up to him. As long as he doesn't want platinum!
Have to wait for the year before can start countin down really.but then I am sure it will go really quickly cos of OH bday, Christmas, new year, my birthday... Then it is march!!

just had an email from my minister of choice to say he cant marry us , his wife is no longer in good health so he only does local ceremonies now, gutted !0

That is not good lorna. On the plus side at least you know now, not with a few weeks or even months to go. U have ages to find a new minister, and u can go through everything with them, rather than twice with different people. I have also heard that things differ minister to minister, so u won't necessarily have ur heart set on something, only to find new minister won't allow it! Hope u find someone else soon.:T0

Got wedding rings today. Heard about the price of gold going up, so thought should get them soon.
H2B and I went to Hatton Garden today, and went round the shops. Went into one and the assistant was quite helpful, explained the difference in shapes etc. We tried on some rings, decided that I would get 2mm plain band, and H2B (if he wants one) would get 5mm plain band. Went away for lunch and to mull it over. We decided to get it from that shop, and H2B would like a ring (yay!) (I did make him promise that HE wanted one, not just doing it to make me happy.) so we went back to the shop (hour and a half later??) and the prices had gone up!!! They had just had the new prices in for the day. We think they also told us the wrong prices to start with.
To conclude we have just ordered them online from where my engagement ring came from, saving over just over £150. Verynow!
