hmmmmmm how many do you think i would need to make cos have seen sets of 20 etc selling and seeing as my stuff to make it stupidly cheap i wouldnt need to make much to make a profit will do some research ta jo
we are having a circle all glittery and shiny in silver with our ribbon around the edge on that a vase with an LED light at the bottom (in blue) and then the gel stuff with blue and silver glitter swirled through and then with 3 more LEDs on the base (i know what we are like im not risking candles lol) costing me to make 10 well under £50 which was my budget
had a play with the pine cones - if you sand down the bottom (i found a belt sander worked best and fastest) do it very gently and then u get a flat base and then clear nail varnishThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Thanks! Will def try that!:T0

Hi everyone I can join this thread please. We have booked for 6th October next year and it will lovely to chat to others who are getting married around the same time esp. I'm already driving everyone close to me mad with wedding talk0

Hi Magpie and welcome! You are my date twin! I think there are a couple of us on that date. Feel free to talk as much as you like on here! Can't wait to hear! Where abouts are you getting married and how far are you with the planning?
Ordered my BM dresses today, as 25% off. They are a lovely burnt orange colour! So very autumny!
That may come out a little small!:T0 -
Hi Johannaalf88, your bridesmaid dresses are beautiful. We've booked a hotel in a village outside Milton Keynes we can't book our register until exactly 12 months before which is annoying. I've already sorted my dress, 1 bridesmaid dress, half of the table dec's and half of the kids favours. It's mine and OH's 2nd wedding and we both have kids so trying not to do anything we did before lol and include the kids
We've set our budget at £4000 so I'm trying to be creative so that we don't go without anything we really want.

Thanks Magpie! Well it took some hassle but they now all agree! They can now wear what ever accessories they like!
We have managed to book our registrars, but we haven't had to pay a deposit which makes me nervous that it isn't booked!
£4000 is totally doable, we are working with a bit more, but I still love finding bargains! What creative bits are you doing yourself?:T0 -
I'm planning on doing all the stationary, table decs, mine & bridemaids jewellery, cufflinks, kids favours & possibly the adult favours but I keep changing my mind what they will be!! £4000 should be workable the only thing that has blown the budget a bit is we are buying the best mans suit & shirt etc as he is OH 21 year old son and we paying for a hotel room on the night of the wedding for both of his kids. But all the homemade bits will help
and I'm only having 2 bridesmaids OH's 18 yr old and my 7 yr old. Mind you my DD has a list as long as her arm of the things she wants

Hi all! Welcome Magpie, I'm also 6th Oct!
Jo - I love the pine comes, showed them to OH and he's trying them out! LOL, thanks for the idea! Love your BM dress too, very nice!0 -
I thought the pic was going to be small! Debenhams pictures don't seem to copy, so had to find another version. It's ok my BMs tried them on in the shop- not doll size!
Haven't tried out the pine cones yet. We live in London so there is a general lack of fir trees! When he head back to Hampshire next month we will go collecting!Glad I could be of help NoAngel.
