at £75  but it is a 1 off wire and glass long piece of 'art' in a way - doesn't have any flowers on it and the colours are perfect.
I'm intrigued!? Do you have a link for this?0 -
Agh how can I still be ill?!
Just ordered the icing for our wedding cake though, as a code came which was only valid for today. So that's another thing done.:T0 -
Managed to get OH to actually choose our readings! Yay! :j
I made a short list of ones I found (that werent sickly sweet), and then he choose the ones he liked. Out of 9 we now have 2 that we r happy with.
We r having:
Notes on marriage by Charles Darwin (a scientist friend suggested it, n we are asking him to read it)
I do, I will, I have by Ogden Nash, (but don't know who we r going to have reading it... It kind of needs a male voice- not sure why...):T0 -

it has gone from the website now, but is still on google images. If you put something like wedding workshop wire bouquet, it is in the images list and is blue and a kind of upside down teardrop shape :-)
Pepe has just been to hotel to confirm the meal and the food choices (we were waiting for them to do their menu changes) and he has sent a text to say he has a new menu and there are a couple of different things we might like to consider, so will look at those tonight.
Waiting to hear from local pagan priest who has said he might be able to officiate at our handfasting ceremony. This is really important to us and as soon as he (hopefully) says yes, we can do the wording for the invitations.
done all my measurements for my bridal coat. Will take 7 weeks to arrive - everything crossed it is ok as it is coming from China."Stay Wonky":D

Oh it looks quite funky!
Mum is bringing my dress back to me on Friday! Can't wait! Then shoe shopping...!! :j
:T0 -
the bouquet arrived last night from the courier....so badly crushed, it was very sad
The box was damaged along one side and it was all pushed into one corner of the box and all the parts of it all squashed together. I emailed the lady who made it and she has been so good. I sent her some photos and she thinks it can be repaired. She has arranged for the courier to come tomorrow and pick it up and take it back to her. She has said she will refund me if it isn't able to be saved but I'm hoping it can be.

Oh that's sad BB.
Any news on if it can be saved yet?
Well my icing arrived yesterday! :j it came in a huge box! And I think I may have over ordered bits- 3kg of white icing!! Got 1.5 kg of marzipan. Also got our cake board (which was why the box was so big)- its 14 in by 24! want to start baking it now, but still have another month (ish) of fruit soaking.
My mum n sister are coming up tonight, and we are going wedding shoe shopping tomorrow. I am über excited about it!! :j:T0 -
Well no shoes!
for any of us actually.
but I did get a pair of slim chino-jeans in a size 10- the diet is working! :j (sorry very happy about that!)
I have ordered two pairs of boring rainbow club shoes, hopefully one pair will fit, and I will just send the other pair back. I can always sell the used pair on eBay afterwards.
Also tried on my dress on Friday (another sign the diet is working), I can now get the buttons done up past my waist! :j however my top Half is still too big! it's not like I'm huge! Im below the uk average! :rotfl: but booked into meet with a dress maker on the 16th May, hopefully there will be some give in the seams. Or else is does look like I will have to change from button-up to lace, which I don't really want to do. Unless I can drop a cup size anyway...! (which OH doesn't want :rotfl:):T0 -

You've got a while yet to the wedding so i would keep the dress the way it is and try around august to see what alterations are needed - you could still lose bust weight!
I've managed to drop 2 dress sizes so I'm so happy - bought my first size 14 dress at the weekend, its put a smile on my face all week.
To think the woman in the bridal shop made me sign that i wanted to order the dress a size smaller, and now she is really glad i did, as she says it will be difficult to take it in more than 2 sizes! At least i can keep going!
I originally said i wanted to be a size 14 for the wedding (I was verging on a 20 at one stage (Only the big 18's fitted lol), and now I'm a 14 - so anything is possible - the inches just seem to be falling off (although the weight doesn't).
I just need to keep motivated!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
Yeah, I'm not going to have anything done at the moment, although I do want a long sleeve lace shrug made from scratch. I mainly just want to see what can be done with it, whether it's 'loose the weight or have a corset back put in' situation. As it is buttons at the moment it has to fit exactly, so need it adjusted near the time anyway.
But the dress maker can have a look then I can get it booked in for later.
That's great on the weight loss Lazer! :j The dress is keeping me motivated! :rotfl: and people noticing helps! Although I am also getting annoyed that none of my work clothes fit as they are too big! I refuse to buy anymore as I only got them in Jan!:T0
