randomly I just googled for sale plus size dresses and whilst this is (when you dig!) a maker in China, I clicked on 'Muslim Wedding Dresses' out of curiosity and love the way the collar etc on this dress is done

I would probably ask if the train could be added in a contrasting colour (ie a dark red dress and perhaps a dark leaf green or copper train) and then start adding leaf/vine/celtic design applique to customise it to make it really autumn-y.

I am more than likely buying my bodice and skirt from Moonmaiden Gothic for the registry ceremony and a custom made long riding style jacket from Etsy....I think....

OMG jo it was so wonderful they are just for us bigger girls so there was none of the b**chneyness that i have encountered at other places

they were so lovely and there was no hard sell at all and they were just lovely and i think the best thing of all was that they were really honest with me there was one that just didnt suit me at all and they told me so (nicely) but i think that their honest was better than them just trying to make a sale

Bbabe i also have a rather wonderful dressmaker in MK who is making my BM dresses it maybe worth an ask as to how much your dream dress would cost and she will sit down and design it with you there and make it just for you PM me if you would like her details x

BB- I quite like the riding jacket too, just in general, not necessarily as a wedding outfit!

yeh some of the other shops when i ask if they can do dresses in my size i got giggles and a no or of course we dont or no we dont try someone where for BIGGER people just some stupid shop girls

i like being bigger as i have my huge assets!!!

Just the two of you sounds so romantic! What are you doing about witnesses though? Just getting 2 people of the street? My nana got asked to do that once- I thought it was really sweet.

Oh that's cool. I have never seen a place that does that before. All the ones I looked at said they couldn't provide them (I am getting married near a border, so in fact checked out 3 county registrars! )
