no news about my bouquet but it only went back at the end of last week. I think it can probably be saved but we will see.

We are going to pay for the registry office ceremony this Friday and also confirm and pay for the hotel meal and the wine.

Looks like the budget is going to be around 3.7k, a bit over the 3-3.5k original forecast but not too bad. We have worked out we don't need any wedding cars as we will go to the registry office with respective parents, then all of us to the lunch together. Pepe's parents can then drive home (non-drinker), we will get a taxi home and we will organise a taxi for my parents back to wherever they are staying for the week of the wedding. For the handfasting, we will already be at the hotel that morning to deliver the cake (we will go by taxi into town) and get ready so don't need one and we are then staying there overnight before getting the train to the airport.

Now quite sure what to budget for my bridesmaid outfit. She is 10 and I have said she can wear whatever she chooses. She is probably going to go for something long, velvet and mildly gothic/medievil and I am going to say to my sister for her to wear her own shoes and I will get her some flowers for her hair and a flower wand....I was thinking about £40??? No rush on that as she is getting taller by the day at the moment and anything that is floor length now will probably be mid calf by October :rotfl:

Sent a chasing email to the guy who has said he may be able to do our handfasting ceremony so we can tie that loose end up. As soon as we know that we can ask my mum to do our handfasting ceremony invitations. We only need a dozen maximum so I don't think that will take too long.

Yeah, I'm not going to have anything done at the moment, although I do want a long sleeve lace shrug made from scratch. I mainly just want to see what can be done with it, whether it's 'loose the weight or have a corset back put in' situation. As it is buttons at the moment it has to fit exactly, so need it adjusted near the time anyway.
But the dress maker can have a look then I can get it booked in for later. :)

That's great on the weight loss Lazer! :j The dress is keeping me motivated! :rotfl: and people noticing helps! Although I am also getting annoyed that none of my work clothes fit as they are too big! I refuse to buy anymore as I only got them in Jan!

I gave in and bought some new work clothes, my trousers were hanging off! I love it when people notice the weight loss.
I bought a dress for our engagement dinner back in November from Coast (First time i've ever bought one out of there and i've always loved them - it was a special treat!) - I'm now raging it doesn't fit - although so happy to be lots smaller - just need to start getting handy with the sewing machine now

It'll be good to know what you need for the dress anyway. I'm so excited about trying mine - supposedly it will be in in June!
Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.

This is exactly how I feel, although I haven't a hope in hell in learning how to sew! :rotfl: I'm not very domesticated! (apart from cake baking- which does not help the weight thing!)

I want my shoes to be here now! *throwing toys out of pram*.

    Getting excited now.

I have my dress & hoop, Jewellery and shoes. And i tried them all on together last night, dress is still a bit small for me. But i am trying to eat healthily, its the late night snacks that get me, at the min we are being good as we are going to Tunisia for 2 weeks in a week and half then when we come back im going to have to hit the gym hard. Length wise the dress was fine though.

But WOW i looked hot :p Boobs were under my chin and i felt soooo amazing!! The jewellery looked really cute too, i got this bracelt: http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_37484+JRWW022500_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7EWomen%7EJewellery%7EBridal+jewellery with the matching necklace and am going to go back and get the earrings.

When we come back were going to order the wedding rings and decide on a Baker for the cake and florist then i need to order the bridesmaid dress - very exciting now.

That's great! I noticed even when something fits and looks good, that's as far as I say. I can't help but think it would really boost my confidence if I thought like you. :) when I tried mine on my waist looked tiny! :D

Ooh, so exciting! I *think* we're almost done! Got to order bridesmaid's dresses, got a sample coming for them both to try on to see if they like it. Then shoes and accessories. Then OH's kilt to order in July and going to order stationary this month!

started my diet yesterday with the plan to lose 2.5 stone. It is more than achievable if I can keep at it as in reality I have about 10 stone to lose! 2.5 stone should mean my lovely Sonsie dress will fit well and I can then ask for the other items to be taken in.

Oh go BB! I have managed to loose a stone and a half since last feb, but stalled around October. Since Feb this year I have lost 10lb. Which still doesn't seem very much! (actually thinking about it it's 12 weeks so not too bad. :) ) I am now a size 10, n think I need to be a size 9!
I have joined the wedding diet thread, we weigh in on Thurs night / fri morn, n then say how much we have lost (or gained.) u r well come to join us. :)
