Ha... There is always bits missing from the list! I checked our list last night (it is huge) and realised that we missed off the table planning!

Also asked on Facebook last night if anyone knew a good seamstress back home. Got a name from a friend who got married last year, so will try her first. :)

Well my leave year finishes in middle September. So still got 2 weeks to book before then! I can carry 5 over tho (which I will!) but can't use any chunks in July, August or Sept, just odd days.... Olympics.

Has anybody done anything to do with favours? I was thinking of making cinder toffee, the type that you get in Crunchies, but after making some batches and having it not come out properly, I decided to make wine glass charms for favours, and then maybe making chocolate leaves to go in the bag with them. Would this be ok? Although I'm still kind of torn because cinder toffee would be so cool.... might have another go this weekend.

6 months today for me! :j:j Yay!

    :D

I tried to make cinder toffee once- it went horribly wrong! It was too sticky and too hard!

Regarding favours... We are not doing them (technically). But we are having a free bar, n I have made wine charms to go on the wine glasses. However, the wine charms are mostly a sneaky way to make the drink go further...

My thoughts are people will forget which glass is theirs when put down, and then (as a free bar) will just pour another glass of wine. This will result in loads of half finished glasses, and we will run out of wine and glasses! Hopefully, the wine charms will reduce this happening, as they will remember what glass is theirs. What do you think? I realise it will still happen, but hoping not as much!
