How was the shopping yesterday? Was it a fun/good experience even though you didn't find the one?

We have actually chosen our music for ceremony and reception today, so feeling very smug atm that I managed to get OH to suggest doing it!:rotfl:

N I have tomorrow off work, so that may also have something to do with it!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done everyone for getting organised, I ordered my wedding dress on Saturday! Apparently it can take up to 20 weeks to arrive so did it just in time! Need to get round to getting the BMs sorted and centrepieces too!

Oooh what one did you get?!

I have decided I will phone the seamstress today while I am off... :)

Its a Phil Collins dress, I can't remember the number of it now, but its stunning, even if I do say so myself! It will be white with embroidery on the bust and down the back and side of the skirt and train. I'm getting the embroidery in red so it matches in with my theme. I was panicking that it had been discontinued because its a 2010 collection dress and it was on Phil's website (since I ordered a dress from him I feel that we're on first name terms!) until a week ago when they updated it.

Have you decided on your final design yet Jo?

Oh yeah, all the Phil Collins ones are really nice. However, I could never buy a dress by him, keep thinking of the musician! N my OH keeps saying that my dad looks like him! :rotfl:

Well I have the dress, just need to decide whether I want the shrug i want made attached to the dress or not.

N I need to have the dress adjusted to fit me, which may mean putting a corset back in (which I don't really want).

I thought the dress already did fit? Would the dress suit a corset back? Mine has a corset back, which is good for me because at the rate that I'm not losing weight it looks as though I'll have to be shoe horned into it...

Well the seamstress I called said she couldn't make the shrug, but gave me the name of someone who could. So just sent them an email. Or she can make it, but I need to provide lace and pattern...? If I knew how/what that was I wouldn't be getting a seamstress?!

But she did say (unlike the other person I emailed) that I may not have to have corset put in if its just an inch, but I will have to bring the dress in to be sure. So will do that in June, she said that will be plenty of time.

Price: 30-45 to be let out and 70-80 for a corset back. Does that sound about right?

I don't whether I should go with her if the person she recommended can't make the shrug, as I will need to find someone else anyway...

Well I can get it on! But it's got buttons, n I can't do them up! But they are a good inch 1/2 away from the edge. Still need to loose the inch though. So I now have until June! It's also slightly too long.

I think it would, it is a boned dress. It's just the buttons look so elegant... But the corset gives a great shape... It's hard to decide! So the decision may be made for me. :)

I am loosing the weight, so that's good. Just need to loose the cm's! Off to the gym in a mo. ok, when good stuff stops showing on the TV! Still in PJs at the mo! :rotfl: enjoying my day off!

Hope you enjoyed the gym Jo. I'm on a roll this week, ordered the wedding rings last night! No just got to sort out BM's outfits, centrepieces, invitations, OH's kilt and presents for best man, and parents. Thinking there must be something missing from this list...
