On Friday I booked tickets for one of the weddding dress sales through theweddingsale.com, turns out when the ticket arrived its in a Bertetex shop. Has anyone had any experience of their shops or one their sales, just decided whether to go as there are mixed reviews from what I can find :/

I haven't sorry. I have heard bad things through a thread on here, but it seems to be depending on shops not the chain as a whole.

I would still go for it if it is near by, if the shop seems rubbish u can always leave.

Well done double mummy on all the progress!

Jo-that's a lovely hamper you've chosen for OH! We won't tell how much it cost! :)

Thinking of making some macaroons for the sweetie table, as can make them in lots of pretty colours. However, don't want to give myself a mammoth task just before the wedding! May have a practice and see how hard it is...

Forgot 2 mention, also booked our ceremony meeting for June. In the letter it implied we would have to go to Dorchester, which is miles away from where our parents live, but apparently we can go just down the road! Wahoo! :j
Now we have a date when we need to have readings and music chosen by tho, n our next free weekend seems to be after may BH!

    Heya all

went to the wedding fair to day and found lots of pretty things more for my sisters wedding than mine but still good to get done and then I saw it....... the world slowed down and a string quartet started playing love songs (well in my head anyway!) as I walked towards the most beautiful dress I have ever seen!!!!! its £950 and I wasnt allowed to try it on but i know that it is the dress for me :)

I am coming up again in two weeks to try it on and look at some accessories.

and i had a play with my hairdresser SIL2B for hair dos so am happy girl today :)
