I've decided to send ours in May mostly as OH's family seem to have forgotten the date already  dont they know how it important it is lol! Plus as we limited on day numbers I am going to send out day invited first with a early RSVP then if we getting any no I can upgrade evening guests without them knowing they have been upgraded ;) Evening invites I am not going to send out until July

I *may* have just over spent on OH present.... :o

I was looking on eBay for a box to present his gifts in (like a hamper) and the ones that were big enough were like £20! But then I found this:

    http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=110845733939

So made an offer and am getting it! We will use it to put cards in at the wedding though too...

Ok it's more expensive, but she makes them to order etc, and that will last forever, is personal to us, and we can keep bits from our wedding in it. I think it's worth it...

    Everyone please agree! :rotfl:

i have been very busy this weekend OH very nicely took the kids and puppies out for the day yesterday for a nice long walk so they were very tired and slept nicely which gave me lots of time to get things done

i have ordered my corset and my hugely massive knickers for dress shopping this weekend

i have sorted the pressies for mum and dad

I made a list of everything that I still need to do (which comes to 150ish points)

I emailed loads of DJs, make up people, hair people,

I registered the gift list at John Lewis as even now people are annoying me asking where the list is

I sorted out the dress fitting in july for the BMs

My friends have offered to set up all the balloons and decorations so I have bought all of those

i found the wedding rings and the kids outfits

sorted out my wonderful nails lady to come and do all the wedding parties nails (for a very good price may I add lol)

I also found my shoes http://www.girlsofelegance.co.uk/acatalog/Cherish-Wedge-Wedding-Shoes-Pink-By-Paradox.html

we have sorted most of the music for the ceremony we just need the song to walk out to now

we are almost there on the readings we have 4 that we love so we are still arguing lol

I have started gathering the addresses for the STDs

OH found some lovely cake boxes (for people to take a slice home with them)

and I think we have decided on Athens for the Honeymoon (we can only get 1 week without the kids and Tenerife is a bit far, we will go another time with the kids)

I did have a rather rude reply from a hairdresser which went
'Hi Kim, I am available on the 20th October 2012. Included is an invoice for £150 deposit please pay this and we can then discuss your needs further.'
That one went straight into the trash lol

Sorry for the long post but I am rather proud of myself :)

    how was your weekends?

blimey you've been busy Double Mummy! I have done nothing wedding related this weekend but I did have a good sort out in the house in preparation for my parents coming for a week this weekend and for then packing to move once they have left :) Even managed to get some bargain dining chairs on Ebay as our old are too bulky for the new place and we have a found a home for the old ones someone who is desperate for some chairs.
