Awww an ickle baby then!!
Yes - it's funny - if I ever discuss housework with dog owners they always say how lucky I am to not have dog hair to contend with... little do they know about bunny fluff!!
Anyway I will leave you all to carry on talking weddings not buns0 -
Our best man is being brilliant! :A
He was over at the weekend, and we mentioned previously that we r having transport issues. He sai he wa thinking about that, and that his dad is getting a brand new Audi A5 sport back in September. He asked his dad and he will happily drive me and my dad to the ceremony (he is invited too anyway) and then drive me and OH to reception! :T new Audi is good enough for me!
And... Last time we saw Best Man he mentioned he booked loads of time off to help me set up etc, and take us to the airport if need after the wedding. We kind of assumed he was just being polite (he had been drinking... :rotfl:) but he brought it up again. I said well what airport (the nearest to where we r getting married is Bournemouth, n that's 20 mins so not unreasonable), he said well any?! He then sai well any up to Liverpool! So he will drive us to Gatwick if all goes to plan! He made it seem like it was not a big deal?! I'm like hell yeah it's a big deal!!:T
So we need to find another gift for him as he is doing so much....:T0 -
WOW he is being brilliant jo!!!!!
if you could stretch it maybe a driving experience or a golfing thingy that him and your OH could go to together for the dayThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Would love to but we really can't afford it. We got him a driving day for his 18 years ago and he really appriciated it, but he plays golf all the time (not with OH- that would not go down well!) I may speak to his girlfriend nearer the time, and see what she suggests. Other than that I suppose I will have to make sure my OH returns the favour one day!
Well I am sure we can come up with something.:T0 -
did you get the vista print email this morning? free tshirts and mugs etc maybe stockpiling lots of little bits for him
maybe a double date picnic (in the summer) in one of the parks around you get some little remote control cars or something for their 'driving' activityThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
They have just moved house, so it probably wouldn't be appriciated to get him lots of little bits to clog it back up!! He was telling us this weekend how much he had to chuck! I might see if I can get him a best man photo- frame, then after the weddin we can give him a picture of himself, us and his GF to go in it... What do u think?:T0

Hi all! Not been on in a while. Just wondering whether any of you are using pine cones as in your decorations at all? Wondering what time of year to collect them or whether to buy some.0
-
I have been "reliably" :undecided: informed that they don't really drop from the trees until spring, then you need to collect them and dry them out until they open. Apparently they have been really damp so far, so they are going to mouldy before my Grandad can get to them! (I asked my mum to collect them when she walks the dog- she delegated that small task on....)
I annoy him every time I speak to him (which is only once a month/ two months) by asking if it is fir cone time yet?!:T0 -
Thanks for the info! Not long to wait then as Spring doesn't seem too far away. I'm hoping to make the name holders that you put on ages ago. Just hope my pine cones will have a flat bottom so that they stand upright0
