Support her when she txts u about crazy things the MiL2B has decided that NEEDS to be at a wedding! (speaking from experience). For example did you know that 7 hours without fruit (still have fruit cake, lettuce in sw, orange juice etc) will give you scurvy?!?! No?!?! That's the most important thing my sister has done- laugh with me and agree with me on all the stupid stuff other people have come up with!

Just brought some socks for H2B! Doublemummy inspired me!

I ended up getting them from eBay, from a seller that personalised socks. I am having them say:

And cost £3.52 inc delivery (coming from Ireland so in euros on eBay). I don't mind paying that much as they have our date on.

Keep them as a surprise! I am not doin any big gifts, but I think I may make up a little gift box with some essentials in, the socks, some emergency food (he gets grumpy if hungry), a mini bottle of drink, etc.

Can you think of anything else I can include?

I will ask the Best Man to stop by mine in the morning to collect it, so it will be a surprise.

mints, a little disposable camera for taking pics of hom and the men getting ready, a little shoe polish (in poundland atm) groom boxer shorts, a little photo frame with a sexy pic of you in or a pic from your first date, cufflinks, a keyring with Mr Jo on, a pack of cards to keep them entertained, a candy watch to make sure he's on time, a bag of haribo rings in case the best man forgets the real one

ours was to see one of the xmen films so all our pets are named after xmen characters hehehehe

or maybe a little film you've made of the 'i promise i'll never die' aftermath from the movie

Well I am having a major strop at work! :eek:

I put in the request for August BH weekend on Tuesday, and today boss emaile everyone to say any leave over the summer has to be booked by Monday (don't even go there...) so a colleague emailed her back with the August BH date too. She is saying we both can't have it (as only 2 admin in thi office) so one of us is stuffed! However, there are 6 admin spread over 3 offices. 2 off leaves 4 over 3 offices!! We r one unit!!!!! There is NO reason why someone else can't come over, in my contract it says my main office is one of the other ones- do I complain?!? No!!!

Basically I am not turning up anyway (hen weekend!)
