ask you doctor about the weight loss, my advise would be DO NOT leave your dress until the week before.

You will only be able to have what they have left in stock. Many wedding dresses have to be ordered up to 6 months in advance.

Hi,

I was hoping I could in all of your lovely conversations. I think we've picked 20.10.12 as our date and may have actually chosen a venue ... just need to rationalise in my head that it is actually ok to spend that much on one day. We can afford it, I've just been an MSEr to varying degrees since I left uni and it's hard!!!!

Just a little bit of info, we got engaged on Christmas morning and I have a beautiful ring that I love. We're aiming for a wedding this year as we have some amazing grandparents that we want there but as they're 92, 90, 88 and 78 it feels like we might be pushing our luck a bit to wait too long.

Would love to join although it feels like we'll have to play catch up for quite a while as you all seem so organised :-)

I had exactly the same problem with the rationalising that much money for one day. But then I rationalised it as:

It's one day for me, it's one day for OH, it's one day for the 70 or so people that we are inviting..... So it is in fact 70 days! As each person has a day....! (make sense?!) Well it did to me, and makes it seem like more value! :rotfl:

We were also the same with grandparents. I am in the very fortunate situation of having all grandparents, so wanted them all to be there!

Don't worry about being behind- 9 months is plenty! Some of us r just stupidly organised!
