I think you should ask the doctor what is the expected weight loss.... I'm sure you have done your research, but the doctor should be able to relate everything to you. Hope that makes sense! I don't think it should be necessary to wait till the week before, I think weight drops quickly at first and then even out a bit (don't think a band would make a difference), so a few months later, thinking July/August might be best. just then buy it a size smaller if necessary....

You got a lot sorted this week! :T We Are having to put off suit shopping for a bit as Best Man cancelled- he had a good reason though! Will probably go in April now.

drs have said everyone is different and as it is only 8 months after (as long as i put the work in) i could still drop a dress size in a couple of weeks quite easily

think i will go in and talk to a dress shop july time and see if i can find a dress i like and could i reserve maybe the 3 sizes below that and then can buy the one that fits in september hmmmmmm

I don't think that's weird... I'm trying to convince OH to go for a mushroom coloured one (think its an actual suit colour...) but don't think I am going to win that! (and don't care enough to enforce it!! :rotfl: ) so I think he is going for a medium grey.

I won a necklace on eBay for my sister yesterday! :T it's a new hallmarked silver teardrop pendant on silver chain, worth £49.99, n I got it for £10.01! Wahoop! :T (I wanted to get her something extra...)

My OH is wearing a brown and grey kilt, not sure if it will be his clan tartan or a popular one until we know what kind of budget we're working with.
