It's just a hallmarkedl silver bracelet, new with tags, for £35 when it's retailing at £89! I even managed to save a few bob by going by auction, as they also had a few at a buy it now price for £36.99- well as they say every little helps! :rotfl:

For something small either jewellery or compact mirrors like me. I'm guessing photos / frames will be too big. There is lots of small engraved gifts you can get... From silver guitar pics to cigar cutters, or key rings and bottle openers. (although I'm not entirely sure they would let u take a cigar cutter on the plane!!)

I'm getting my BMs jewellery and maybe something like an emergency bag for the day or something similar.

Hi everyone, I brought my first wedding item for 2012. A really nice silver & white Just Married garland from the Hoobycraft sale. Bargain at £6 and I think it will lovely on the front of the cake table :)

Does anyone have any alternative gift items for mother of the bride and mother in law other than flowers? Although flowers are tradition are easy really not practical my mum lives in spain so staying at ours & mother in law has a long drive home the day after the wedding.

I wa wondering what to get them as well... Our families could have flowers, but I don't think they would be particularly special, so want to see what comes up!!

    Sorry I can't help!

That great on the bargin hunting! :D

I don't think either of the mum's would appreciate a journal or keepsake box, maybe a nice silver photo frame
