We're hoping to go to NYC for Halloween without our daughter, i had had an offer off my sister to look after her while we will be away but her health has deteriorated and my daughter and her son will be at different primary schools so probably not feasable.

My dad is unemployed at the moment and so could do it but there is nothing to say that he will be employed come late October so were going to hold out for a late deal closer to the time.

    Maldives sounds lush!!

We've chosen NYC as weve never been before and we ALWAYS do beach holidays, so something new and different together :j

Some advice required please! I'm looking at bridesmaid dresses and have picked one online that I like:

I can order in any of these colours (under the Chiffon heading):

My colour scheme is autumnal colours - I'm so confused about what colour dresses to go for! I quite like the brown/chocolate/gold colours. Apparently they can do the sash in a difference colour to the dress.

Anyone have any opinions on nice colours?!

I wanted BM dresses in brown... Think it is a really warm colour, and very autumnal. I wouldn't go with a different colour sash though, but that is just me. If I was going to have a white/ cream/ light coloured dress I would have a sash to tie the colours together, but not for a dark dress.

That's just my opinion though... What do you prefer?

Thanks Jo. Maybe you're right about the sash, don't think a different colour is really needed. Think maybe the brown colour as it looks quite rich and warm. Maybe I should order the colour samples to see for sure. Was going to order a dress for my sister to just try, but can't return them!

The only other colour I would suggest is a burnt orange, but the colour on that sight looks a bit bright. I would just order one I think...

I'm aiming for more reds and oranges in my autumnal theme, so I was going to be looking for a burnt orange dress with red sash, I saw one at a wedding exhibition and it looked really nice. All depends what elements you'll be pulling in for your theme.
