We ended up getting burnt orange dresses. We are going for burnt oranges, browns and golds really. With an autumn theme the beauty is you can really use any colours you want!!

That what I like about having an autumn theme, even if someone is having an autumn theme too, you can bet they'll be different from yours. My cousin is going to 5 weddings this year and the other 4 are all having purple as the colours.
  • Great minds :D...... we've gone for burnt orange for bridesmaids too. Autumn is a great theme, colours don’t have to match exact, a range of browns/oranges/reds will hopefully look amazing together.

Feel as if we're getting somewhere now!

booked the band last night and they do the dj'ing as well - so thats 2 things down.

I have a number of quotes for photographers sourced as well, just need to go see albums etc and pick one!

Trying on my favourite dress tonight so dress and veil could be sorted today too, and hopefully going to get the bridesmaid dresses sorted too.

My mum has decided she is going to make my cake - so another thing down!

I'm feeling much more organised today!

Yay Lazer! I have had my bracelet and bridesmaids gifts delivered. I will upload some pics when I get home tonight. :)

Just realised though that I didn't account for a hair comb into my budget... So now got under £15 to find one with. Or get one for my birthday...! Problem is I have really expensive taste...! :o

Glad to see everyone is getting some bits sorted, OH's mum told us at christmas that they would pay for our cake as our present she knows somebody who makes cakes :) Now all I need to do is try and decide what I want, the flowers & cakes are the two things I am really undecided about.

I'm kind of holding off until I my dress sorted which will hopefully be early April, I do have the luxury of not having suppliers rushing me as cake lady is happy to wait until then and my friends mum does wedding flowers so I'm going to use her.
