Oh glad you liked the Clinique trial, this is exactly what I was thinking of doing plus I won a £25 Debenhamds voucher so that will go towards it. Was thinking I might wait for one of their bonus times. I used to love treating myself to Clinique in the days I had money before having DD :D

It does feel like a Monday. I was at a different office yesterday, so that has messed up my routine!

Had a bit of annoying news yesterday...

Our ceremony venue allows us to have drinks after the ceremony, either a bring your own and pay corkage, or pre-order and pay obscene amounts. We (yes, both of us) were sure it previously said corkage was £2 a bottle, which we though was ok, but now it has changed to £2 per person. 6 glasses in a bottle of bucks fizz (what we were planning) works out at £12 a bottle!!! People have to drive between the two venues, so just wanted something very light, n not a lot of it! Just to wet the mouths while taking photographs.

Needless to say we are just not going to do it!! We will have bucks fizz on arrival at our reception venue instead- no corkage!!

Johanna, are you sure it's not £2 per person overall, ie £2X number of guests? I've been quoted corkage per bottle and per person (as above) at various venues, but never £2 per person per bottle, which is basically £2 per glass! That sounds absolutely crazy, and a proper rip-off!

It is £2 per person overall! Sorry, probably didn't explain it well! We were only planning on providing around glass each, as wont be there long, and people are driving.

When we booked we thought it was per bottle, but don't have it written down.

So as we weren't planning on providing a lot it was effectively £2 a glass- hence not going to happen!

Oh dear! I didn't even consider that some of the stuff might be hard for people to get!! I just used my passport and driving license, didn't even consider that some people don't have them.

Looking forward to changing my passport! :D
