Hoping against hope that I can wangle the whole of next week off when I speak to the boss tomorrow. Everyone cross their fingers and toesies for me please. If not then so be it but it'd be nice to have a week of with OH.

Had a much nicer tea of salmon fishcakes and peas tonight. Gave OH the last of the chips so feeling a) kindly and b) virtuous for not giving in to temptation.

Have a lovely evening everyone and take it easy.

Whoo! I snagged another of the little blighters so that's me up to 9 NSD and nearly double figures.

Still no news on a name for my niece - I'm getting impatient now lol!

Keiss - I would (and I know they're expensive) recommend GHDs for hair straighteners. I used to have some similar by Hair Tools (bought off eBay) which were good because you could adjust the temp to suit your hair type. However I got some GHDs a few years ago for my birthday (thanks mum :o) and I find them far far superiour, the plates don't drag at your hair and they heat up really quickly. Just make sure you get actual GHDs (I would suggest from a hair salon) and not counterfeit ones if you get some.

Great news about the cat Kath. Its been lovely watching ours out enjoying the sunshine - she loves us having the patio door open so she can come and go as she pleases.

Whooo! Half way through the week and looking forward to the long weekend.

    Evening all

So jealous about you getting a cat Kathy! Hope they settle in OK. I have made my husband promise that I can a cat when we moved to somewhere that allows them. :rotfl: We always had cats when I was young, one day . . . Let us know how they get on.

Talking of cats, glad to hear your puss is doing better Jinty.

Keiss I can echo the GHD recommendation, they even straighten my hair which is afro to say the very least. I know a lot of hairdressers use them too.

Here to declare NSD#11, woo hoo.

Have been doing my olympic tickets, I have a scary total at the moment but I am thinking that I probably won't get a lot of them and if we do I can put them on the official site for resale. Still is very frustrating method of doing the ticketing.

Hope everyone is having a good evening.
    xx
