...back from town with NSD still intact....lunch bought from home (well lunch bought from A*da previously and bought via the freezer @ home) dinner should be ok tonight though some stocks getting a little low. Did find a frying steak in the freezer though with some taste the diff pitta bread - so they are defrosting for a sarnie tomrorow (with some fried onion) I also got some cheese sauce out of the freezer so I can use up the pasta that is left...but have just realised I wasn't going to use that - doh!!! Anyway, trying to be organised to an extent and use up the food we have without buying tons more (found two blocks of cheese in the freezer too!)

Right, best crack on - no name for baby as yet, they weren't expecting a girl so no girls names were lined up - whoops! :rotfl:

Just dropping in to delcare today a NSD- against all the odds- taking me to NSD#8/15. I have my doubts I'm going to meet my target (again :o) but I'm going to give it a good go!

Well done everyone that is managing to clock up the NSDs again this month :T

Picked up NSD no 11 today :j

Hoping to nab no 12 tomorrow too, then a whole clutch of them over the loooong weekend!!

Been at work today and found out I hadn't been told about a meeting with the unions yesterday re our impending redundancies....cross that my manager doesn't seem to think I count!!

Anyway, contacted the various people concerned, so I am now on everyone's email list!!!

Going to do some ironing before geting an early tea ready. DH and DS2 are off to a rugby match tonight (postponed from December due to snow). I want to get some sewing done tonight, so will attack the ironing mountain first, to justify an evening of enjoying myself!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Spoon, she used straighteners on my hair...never had them before...quite liked the look, so will investigate if I have enough vouchers (B**ts or Te$co) for some. :D Anyone got any recommendations for a particular make/kind??

So glorious here...going to water the plants after tea...too sunny and hot atm!!

    Have a good evening all.

    :hello:

    Hi all NSDers xxx

Gosh haven't been in here for far to long.sorry to have missed out on the months thread :( I did notice that Kerri has become an auntie :T :):)

I can tell I haven't been in as I have only managed 7 nsd's so far this month  ......and I am running out of month!!I know I will spend on Thursday as I'm meeting a friend for a coffee but am trying to hang out until then. i just seem to have been so busy but not actually done anything if you know what I mean.........not got onto the computer at work and seem so tired when I get in!!

Good news though ..my washing machine appears to have started to work again :) so that's one less worry for the moment.

And........I am getting a cat tomorrow :T I so miss having a furry one around the house and it would be too unfair to get a dog as my shift pattern is still all over the place :( really miss them now the weather is getting nicer too :( but a cat will liven me up a little and the place won't seem so empty....got to get some tidying up done before I collect her though and will need to see what I need to get for her.......not sure if person I'm getting her from will have a litter tray etc but if I have to do that tomorrow I will and make the day up later I hope. I'm working over the bank holiday, lates on Friday and then earlies for four days..at least it means I won't have to see the boss on Monday :). Did I say I didn't manage to sign up with the agency due to things from 1981 on my CRB? Still just keep plodding.........

i have made the stupid mistake of having my purse with me today so really need to not pop into the late shop on the way home.......keep focussed, hope to be back later :)

    :hello:
