    Hi BDINI
Declaring NSD 10 early today. Determined to get to target this month. So have made the decision to have a weekend at home with no trips to the shops. I know there is enough time to make target - but i want to break the Saturday shopping habit if possible. I will be making do this weekend and shopping out of my storecupboard.

Good luck with breaking the Saturday shopping habit Trin, i find it harder to avoid the shops at the weekend too, especially as groceries are so easy to justify!!!!

Just had a look on the M'n'S website, and found the dress I splurged on yesterday - for anyone that's interested, it's this one

And these are the shoes I got from Cl@rks.... the other pair are identical apart from being black.

The dress & shoes are fab Cheryl, now you just need your chap to take you somewhere spectacular to wear them!!

Thanks Kerri, I know I've been a moany lately but it's lovely to know that you lot are so supportive, and yes a hug would be great, but if that doesn't work then please go to plan b and get kicking!!!!
I think I just need to focus more on the positives so....
    Today I
    - baked a cake
    - did 4 loads of washing and line dried 3 of them (4th is going on line tomorrow)
    - put 3 loads of washing away (I do NOT do ironing!)
    - changed the fireplace from it's winter fireguard to the summer screen
    - tidied away the winter candles (just the pretty ones left out now)
    - emptied bins ready for collection tomorrow
    - checked bank accounts and did some shuffling into savings accounts
    - did an online order for Mr T after checking fridge/freezer and meal planning for next week
    - had a delicious and completely unhealthy treat for tea in the form of chip butties!

That's actually not too bad when I see it written down, maybe I'll try to do a list like this every so often.

Thanks guys (and esp Kerri - you're a star)
    Hazel

Well done Twistedhazel, for a "Meh" day you have done loads!!
I agree with what everyone else has said, sometimes you just have to give in to chip butties & a bit of feeling sorry for yourself, & any time you need a hug, or a kick up the bum, we are all here!!

  • Evening all, hope everyone is well today. A big thank you for all the positive messages and hugs you lot have sent me. Feeling better today and got quite alot done. I think it's the constant back of the mind nagging worry over cashflow that sometimes leaps out and grabs hold of me. I know it's not forever it's just that sometimes I feel like like a hamster on a wheel. That said if I focus on the positives I'll do just fine.

So another pesky little NSD caught and in the pen with the others. I reckon there's still room for a few more in there this month before I take them out to the country and release them.

That makes it 12 so far this month. I'm off to have a cuppa now so take it easy guys.
